nah they didnt give ONS a run, they literally lost 13-3 Icebox. They also went to OT in GF.

Also almost 2-0d by WGS

i love prx why they have to meet drx so early ;_;

they've never made a qualifier between KR and JP, you're talking about APAC LCQ, where Korean teams played on Hong Kong (terrible server, riddled with packet loss and instability issues) or had 80 ping and less than a month's practice. As for Nuturn, they actually made a decent run, but they were not the same Nuturn from Iceland. Damwon KIA were the best KR team at LCQ. They were also the same team that had less than a month's practice.

APAC LCQ last year was a fiesta, I think all LCQs besides EMEA was a fiesta last year. Hope they make it a LAN like APAC playoffs this year.

kek, I'm sure the T1 teams in other games use it too, so no worries.

cheaper too. why waste time in tier 2 when u could compete for a spot at champs and masters

posted about 3 years ago

The FA talent in Korea is sooo large man you could easily build a DRX+ calibre team with the right players and support.

posted about 3 years ago

come to Korea

posted about 3 years ago

sheeeesh thats crazy

posted about 3 years ago

does Turkey have the viewership to deserve a spot?

posted about 3 years ago

Honestly no expectations but this is good for JP.

posted about 3 years ago

agree

posted about 3 years ago

why are we not giving a second KR team a chance? Make it like an inter-regional qualifier like for BR-LATAM.

Korean teams like WGS and ONS have done better vs DRX than NiP and Zeta. They deserve a chance too.

historically and privately DRX is well-known to demolish other Asian teams. It wouldn't be surprising - expected even.

posted about 3 years ago

That's a bad take - we haven't seen the playoff teams. Just because they were first seed does not mean they'll do well. Group stages proved that anything can happen.

true, I'm still keeping my expectations tempered.

yes, it's a really unfortunate situation. But BraveAF was a huge factor in Fnatic's success in EMEA.

posted about 3 years ago

I actually think Fnatic were doomed from the start because not having BraveAF ruined their team synergy and execs. We know Fnatic is a very structured and exec heavy team, so without a connected Initiator they were always going to lack an advantage. I personally think that the results would not be so different even if Derke was there, although it is fucking Derke so you never know.

posted about 3 years ago

i mean, PRX were up 9-3 vs DRX on Icebox...it was a sorta close game.
I am in PRX copium, I like em is all.

posted about 3 years ago

i think the two situations arent comparable because xerxia was comfortably in the driver's seat vs OpTic.

posted about 3 years ago

the arrogance to say that after getting manhandled by Xerxia with the PR disaster that followed, plus with NA going out in groups at Champs...

posted about 3 years ago

PRX levelled up HARD since then. Even still they had close games with the strongest iteration of DRX and took a map off M3 SMB which was a really big dark horse.

posted about 3 years ago

tbf of the 8 rounds 4 were pistol+bonus rounds so unlucky really

posted about 3 years ago

GGs, respect to NiP, Breeze was the closest game DRX has had in the tourney.

posted about 3 years ago

You give brazilian fans a bad rep.

posted about 3 years ago

went from saying NiP 2-0 then NiP 2-1 now he said it was an expected DRX 2-0 holy copium

posted about 3 years ago

nah, they just don't give a shit about Valorant....yet.

posted about 3 years ago

excited for LOUD, ggs boys.

posted about 3 years ago

I actually think on Breeze they had a better Defense than Attack. A few rounds were mistakes but they clutched up on the crucial ones. Can't make these mistakes anymore. I hope DRX clean it up-this 13-8 was their closest game so far.

posted about 3 years ago

not yet. I would like to see DRX vs PRX though

are we still on this weird notion that KR has bad mechanics?

posted about 3 years ago

VS never lost to ACE bro what? they beat them and it wasn't even close. they also never got 2-0'd at an international event.

edit: failed to realise it was meme post my bad
