Nuturn did. And tbh their core is currently on DWG. There has never been a KR superteam besides DRX, but numerous KR teams have come close to beating DRX. A KR superteam is perfectly capable of dethroning them. Like I said, the talent is there.

Yes. Nth have like 0 international experience and tbh they did not look like the better team even when they beat XIA, but Meteor is different. And Blackwiz was feeling it on map 3

optic were in a big slump with yay having some of the worst games in his career, and kru is a team that loud should have comfortably beaten, even with the form they're having rn. loud also look out of form as well. it's a toss-up imo.

tbh I feel like LOUD were the worst team of the tournament instead of XIA, or at least equal to them. thats not to say both are bad. they are both good teams, but LOUD did not look like their reykjavik selves.

its possible the "random" draw is to decide which #1 seed faces which #2 seed. deciding whether NA/EMEA goes against group A/group B.

Playoffs starts TOMORROW.
In just a few hours, deciders are going to be played.
Riot has no actual idea which team will advance. It could be KRÜ and NTH for all we know. Then it becomes a LATAM vs NA and JP vs EMEA matchup, which is perfectly fine.
Say it doesn't and the favourites go through.
How is Riot gonna suddenly change the playoff bracket and potentially ruin prep time for all 4 teams involved in tomorrow's matches?

Only huge upset this tournament was LOUD vs KRÜ. And OpTic vs Guild to a lesser extent.
The only match winner I predicted incorrectly was Guild vs OpTic. I thought OpTic would win tbh.
DRX winning vs NTH was obvious.
KRÜ winning vs LOUD made sense after I talked to someone about it.
FPX would beat XIA of course. Guild would beat KRÜ, nothing new.
NTH beating XIA I predicted right, XIA's form looked bad during the FPX game.
DRX beating FPX was expected.
