i understand this for maps like bind and icebox, every other map (breeze especially) requires you to have site control

if the team even has an inch of brain, 2 people can defuse it in halves

most people on this thread are wrong, lineups are cringe when you as a viper go play for lineups in a 2v1 or a 4v3s, you basically bait the team and leave them at a disadvantage on site, most of the times youre better off mollying ct, wasting time and playing with your gun out

yes, cypher cam has to be the 3rd best piece of util on breeze after viper wall and sova dart. but on maps like fracture, not playing chamber unless you have insane nerdy cypher setups (even then, the raze spam is gonna fuck you up) is kinda troll and yes 100t plays chamber there but its very different from what other teams do

yes, especially on icebox fracture and ascent/haven.not abusing chamber costs them i think youre fine without chamber on breeze (hot take) split and maybe bind, chamber on bind would definitely help tho

if youve ever seen asuna play, youll know hes probably one of the best entry fraggers and aggressive duelists, the problem was jett was everywhere and he wasnt a good oper and that hindered his playstyle a lot, but on kayo and skye, hes unleashed, i just wish he doesnt have to play sage

they play pretty well, really good fundamental valorant, going this far without an awp abuse shows that you really dont NEED chamber and comps dont matter and unless and until you have smokes you can make any comp work if you play to its strengths, they cant do optic level comps (which im sure sean gares would love to implement ) because theyre relatively new, they are trying to build their identity rn and really, is it bad if we see a team that tries to play differently

no, both boaster and igl have one thing in common, great great igls but igling hinders their util usage and aim a lot, especially ange1, he plays too aggressive (not bad at all) but as a smokes player, you really need to realize the value of just staying alive(unless youre out of stars as astra or util as brim) and helping your team

fpx is easily the hardest team to read and they punish teams for it. they play such good fundamental valorant i love it

fpx is extremely good at antistratting,and being unreadable, theyll easily take first seed over fnatic plus liquid took 8 straight rounds on attack dont undermine their comp, i think what lost liquid the game in the 2nd half is the lurking cypher not instabreaking the sage wall for his team, it would bait slows and build pressure.

how about with his ult, youve to press and hold F to remove the ping just like his cam

thats the thing, when youre at like 8-6 and youre down on eco, sometimes minimising your risks is way better than going for exits and risking your eco

Good teams wont try clutching 1v3s 3v5s or even go for exit frags with low eco when youre at a round advantage, sometimes saving a rifle can be way better than going for an unwinnable round.
bad teams however try unwinnable rounds and end up leading up to a snowball.

B-Ascent, bind(actually defender sided, easy to hold attackers in chokes)
C-breeze- i dont hate breeze but its so one dimensional, you need viper and sova, you basically need a kayo or a skye and its mostly aim battles which is fine but im a utility heavy game enjoyer
