I find that the time it takes is very inconsistent, it depends a lot on how good the best player is and what map is selected. Breeze for instance takes longer than Ascent. Using your logic of "just play 2 games", people should be more than able to leave a 10 minute game without any penalty. This way people who only want to play for five minutes and people (myself included) who play several death matches in a row can be appeased.
Sentinels won't make it out of groups;
Crazy Racoons have potential to be semi finalists;
KRU is a top 5 team across both North and South America.
Riot should have community servers, if not:
. Remove spawn invulnerability,
. Implement a line of sight system to spawn locations,
. Remove spawn timer,
. Remove long ending animations,
. Make the death match last 10 minutes, not requiring 40 kills,
. Tie lobbies to rank or have skill based match making, to limit the amount of irons camping corners with the judge,
. Ban T/CT respawns,
. Reduce player count.
Community servers would be good for:
. Hosting 24/7 maps (Ascent),
. Running more niche modes like headshot only pistols that would be better practice for more experienced players,
. Serving as a barrier of entry between high and low ability players.
Naturally Riot would never do this because we are literally living in 1984

Yes, the current set up doesn't let lower tier teams make a name for themselves. I think it might be bad in the long run.

I rate gambit very highly, they performed very well individually throughout the tournament. They were nowhere near losing to CR, the defence of Gambit was just too strong (although I do respect CR's attempt and improvement over last time).
As for Sentinels, the team in general is not overrated. They are very good. Probably third place behind Envy and Gambit, but this list was about players and individually they were terrible this tournament. Tenz was good but more inconsistent than usual, his Raze in particular was a great disappointment. Sick was unremarkable. Zombs and Dapr performed worse than I have ever seen. I think the team just had a rough tournament.
After this past LAN:
Overrated: Shazham and Izzy
Shazham is certainly a great player, but I felt he really underperformed this tournament (alongside the rest of SEN, but calling out Dapr or Zombs is a bit cruel). The team was just constantly outplayed and didn't improve much after Reykjavik. I think it would be best if he plays another agent and the team has a coach, then he has less pressure in being the teams tactician and can instead focus on being the very good IGL that he has shown himself to be time and time again. SEN is still a great team and has a good chance of winning Champions regardless.
Izzy received so much hype before Berlin but got Jett diffed by everyone and didn't look any better than his teammates (except maybe paura who did shockingly badly as IGL imo).
Honourable mentions would go to Lakia, but I just feel bad for the guy. At least he got a nice trip to Berlin.
Underrated: Avova and Redgar
Both of these players were great, but lacked the spotlight shone on some of their teammates like Nukkye or Nats. But I feel that both players were reliable and formed the back bone of their teams. Redgar in particular really impressed me, I never thought much of him but he was such a good IGL t
Honourable mention would go to Deffo, another Gambit player who I never thought much of going into the tournament- but was fantastic.
Naturally there is some recency bias in my list

It's unfair that he will have to carry that stain on his reputation. But for these organisations, it's just business.
Jett isn't the issue imo. She should be an agent specialising in using it, Raze and Reyna are far better suited for rifling. Having this arrangement is more interesting. Although I wish the awp was reworked to be more like CS where it can be used more aggressively, I'm sure that would ruin balance though.

I, like most EMEA fans, presumed that G2 was easily the weakest seed in the region. Far worse than the other 3. I also partook in the typical G2 = Gold2 jokes, but is it just me or have they performed amazingly well so far? Being able to compete with SEN and being, as of posting, far better than F4Q.
I think we need to consider them as being EMEA's best chance of winning masters, the other teams from the region have been very disappointing by comparison.
Does anyone else feel this?
