More often than not, if you feel like you don't have time to react it means your peeking or holding technique isn't ideal, it's a sign that you deserve your assigned rank.
Your teammates may be bad at certain things, but they are the same rank as you, which means they must exceed at other things which you may not notice. It's much easier to notice and point out the flaws of others.
I'd recommend watching back your own VOD and being super critical of all of your mistakes, ask yourself what could you have done better. Even if you think it's 100% your teammates fault, try and still find something that you yourself could do better. I can't really say much more about your gameplay without a VOD

Yeah in hindsight Riot really messed up the partnership structure for EMEA (when looking at it from a regional standpoint)
