just as legitimate then the human rights violating Saudi scumbags' ewc, also they won it over the Toronto winner with the player im talking about match mvping

Nobody who actually have any knowledge on how to analyse the game bases their opinions off of stats, he has great impact, calling, he helps a lot on the micro level with like hyping up his teammates and everything, he's a shooter, he's consistently good at clutching, and he's very handsome and has a nice smile

aspas MADE THE TEAM. It literally wouldn't be good without him objectively

2021, 2022, AND 2025 BABY WE'RE WINNING CHAMPS AGAIN LETS GOOOOOO

posted 3 weeks ago

Don't forget that if prx had won good openings in any of the previous 13 rounds, there would've never had to have patitek wiff, there were plenty of those rounds that could've been decided by one fight going differently too. Also even if pati hadn't wiffed, they would've still needed to close it out

nah no shot with the 33yo assistant coach lmao good luck against KC in the lowers (they don't need the luck kc about to play 5 of the wrong duelists at once)

posted 3 weeks ago

They only played badly in two games, not cause for a ton of panic yet imo

posted 3 weeks ago

They won a championship with Estrella, I think a new player at this point is a bad sign tbh

posted 3 weeks ago

a 3 team region? SEN, G2, 100T (assuming they keep their form). Also EG almost eliminated G2 and made it to Toronto, MIBR are usually on par to like how TL and BBL have been looking in EMEA, but then again NRG are shit so i'll give you that.

posted 3 weeks ago

they did that once and still won champs, your team choked a one round better lead and didn't even make it to top 5, and were only good from last year onwards, loud actually had a legacy

posted 3 weeks ago

wait so are we not including trans ppl for some reason? not accusing anything just wondering what you meant, Jelly was literally on a team with "female" in the name and I don't get why excluding them would be a thing we're doing lol

posted 3 weeks ago

To clarify I think they did good for the circumstances but were already kinda average going into the tournament: barely qualified, 3rd seed, didn't make it to EWC

posted 3 weeks ago

SEN 1-0, better map pool overall imo, please istg dont let split through SEN

posted 3 weeks ago

damn they have the best player in every role and they're still losing a map lmao

posted 3 weeks ago

yeah they had good individuals and stuff, but like you could tell that they weren't prepared, they weren't that good going into the event either tbh

they aren't bad, just like worst then a lot of the teams; think about it, with nats they probably weren't in form to beat SEN, PRX, GEN G, or WOL, so they're like exactly average

posted 3 weeks ago

I mean they didn't even go to the event im talking about lol, you're the one who brought it up. also I'm talking about their form in toronto, like I did for the other teams, most of the time they were pretty good, which is the same reason I'm not rating TH super low. None of the EU teams even made it out of groups

posted 3 weeks ago

"best country in south america" well I mean there's basically only two south american countries that play

also for the record theres a tournament with almost every south american team and only argentinian teams made finals

posted 3 weeks ago

wait wtf why did people double downvote this lmao do you guys hate me (i think one of the EMEA cope people downvoted every comment)

posted 3 weeks ago

fake statistic, MIBR crashed out and were terrible the whole tournament, TL basically got a free win, woulda won without nats too. Aside from that FNC were just dominating everyone because they're a great team, i mentioned that in the breakdown. I just don't think they have many other good teams except maybe BBL, we'll see.

posted 3 weeks ago

how are people still hating and complaining about what a team did like 2 months ago when they just WON TORONTO AND WENT ON A MASSIVE RUN IN THEIR REGION IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS, like the change objectively worked

posted 3 weeks ago

he just won a trophy on the main roster of a team if we're being technical here lol

posted 3 weeks ago

Im feelin it they make finals trust (before losing to edg)

posted 3 weeks ago

I think it could change really quickly, coming out of stage 1 and toronto they've been pretty much a one team region, FNC is like easily the 2nd best team in the world but TL looked pretty meh even with nats, and heretics crashed out, i have hope for bbl tho

also g2 might be dead until stage 2, nrg have only been good online, might make it out of playoffs, and 100t is like pretty good, about average for the tournament tbh

posted 3 weeks ago

I did this during the fpx game, best hour and a half of my life lol

posted 3 weeks ago

ty! glad to see someone appreciated the pointless yapping lol

posted 3 weeks ago

I was bored so here's a breakdown of every region going into the event ig, not very detailed or anything or good just a thing i did for fun

Americas were looking super good around end of stage 1, but NRG were like really really bad at the time (until the online games), I think their success entirely relies on how well skuba preps and performs at the event; that being said I kinda doubt NRG get out, heretics were looking consistently better than NRG even when NRG were in online form, and it's not like they can perform much worse lol so I feel like they'll probably lose that game, crush TEC (if it was FPX it would be a different story for the record), and go up against RRQ or TH, which might be winnable but I don't favor them there. 100t looked actually extremely good during the onlines, and could have probably qualified to Toronto if they had played against G2 in that lower bracket instead of EG (G2 weren't great in that game), I think they could qualify, but they have a very difficult group and I'm betting on an EDG resurgence so I don't think they'll do it, though for the record they would in any other group tbh. G2 is kinda difficult to predict without Leaf, the assistant coach they have subbing in, shhhack, is actually a former professional CSGO player, and has hit rank 1 radiant multiple times in EU (like several years ago but still), and is pretty good just like as a player (https://www.youtube.com/@shhhack), but he's obviously not Leaf. I still think they have a chance of getting out of their groups because both BLG and KC have been very bad (ik KC has done some stuff, but in the VCT they've looked not good consistently). I'm a pretty heavy SEN believer, they might lose to BBL but if they don't implode they should still make playoffs, pretty easy group.

As someone who watches every single game played in the vct (including china), EMEA is like easily the worst region rn unless a couple teams got some godlike changes since toronto, BBL are consistent but kinda fell off at the end of their run in stage 1, every game I watch of KC I start off thinking like "wow, this is a super cool comp, can't wait to see what they'll do with it", then watch as they play like shit and do nothing with their good ideas (except Icebox Omen my beloved), they've literally only looked good in online events this year and this is a lan so they're cooked, + a bunch of newish inexperienced players. Only hope for them is they have a really good read on the meta. Team Heretics just had the most disappointing performance of any team ever lol but they have an easy group so I have them getting out, and FNC looks amazing so they're probably making top 4 imo. BBL is kinda a dark horse here, I think if they maintain their form from the beginning (and not the end) of stage 1 playoffs they should pretty easily make it out of groups, but that group is kinda hard to predict so idk.

Pacific is pretty objectively the best region rn, DRX have looked very consistent and have an easy group, so either they or BBL are probably getting out of the group, especially now that they've had more time to integrate Estrella, plus they won ACL so that's nice. GenG looked amazing for most of Toronto, only reason that I don't have them making it out is because, even though they probably should, I'm predicting an EDG resurgence and it's easily the toughest group; t3xture might just kill everybody tho, we'll see. Paper Rex won toronto and have an easy group lmao no way they aint making it out of there. RRQ might have a kinda easy group but they had an awful read on the meta in toronto so i have no away, its a 50/50 that they go to playoffs, entirely depends on Jemkin and Monyet getting back in form, and them having a solid read on the meta.

EDG IS BACK CN BEST REGION LETS GOOOOO anyway, I think zjc is an extremely good initiator player who is on par with S1mon, I feel them making a resurgence, especially after watching them against TEC. TEC is actually really bad, free win usually, BLG I think is mad overrated, whzy is insane but they just kinda run it down, great mechanics though. XLG I genuinely have no idea, same as RRQ. EDIT: forgot to mention a couple things, first off, EDG won like 7 maps in a row to qualify, and that was with Jieni bottom fragging EVERY GAME, so I have a lot of hope for them now that they have a better initiator. also fpx is goated and winning champs jesus christ that wolves game was so fun to watch, autumn was playing so interestingly and originally

posted 3 weeks ago

very good mechanically, especially for his age: https://www.youtube.com/@shhhack

he's a grinder, hits rank one sometimes as far as I can tell, that might just be like 3 years ago though

posted 3 weeks ago

y'all haven't seen this guy dominating ranked, behold: https://www.youtube.com/@shhhack

also blg and kc are free wins trust

posted 3 weeks ago

y'alls pickems are crushed without leaf lol

posted 3 weeks ago

I like furia and a lot of the players on the team, but it would really be nice if anyone except heat would stop playing with their monitors off, I think they'd do better tbh

posted 3 weeks ago

They are rank 1 in china because they were significantly better than both of those teams in stage 1, hope that helps

posted 3 weeks ago

stfu they played better than wolves were usually playing at toronto

posted 3 weeks ago

Just looked back at this one with Jemkin being one of the best players in the world rn, crazy stuff lol

posted 4 weeks ago

As an actual bronze player that's disrespectful af to us, ts unrated

posted 4 weeks ago

yeah but beating them as dominantly as they did is a good sign at least, especially since they were looking like they could lose to tec with jieni7

posted 4 weeks ago

alphabet man has great util, has shown that he can set up kk well, and can actually shoot a gun unlike simon, they look way better than with jieni

also they crushed tec despite never playing corrode before and zjc fried, +geng always choke leads

posted 4 weeks ago

TEC is decent, top 5 in the region imo, great mechanics and some cool set stuff on attack sometimes.

posted 4 weeks ago

heretics is the 4th best team, only lost to 1st place and 3rd place teams and only lost to 2nd best team in the world in europe, also beating them once.

you see how fucking stupid this is???? their sub was their only good player except keiko and they lost to blg. also they only have one consistent player and obviously can't beat anyone without him doing decently

posted 1 month ago

RIP FNC SOMETHING COULDN'T THROW ENOUGH WE'RE JUST TOO GOOD

posted 1 month ago

Paper Rex get pretty hard countered by G2's playstyle, we've seen it before in the past

posted 1 month ago

MARK MY WORDS FNC WILL BEAT GENG. y'all need to rewatch those 5 maps in a row against heretics

posted 1 month ago

THATS THE JOKE ITS A JOKE I LITERALLY ALREADY SAID IT WAS A JOKE HOW DO YOU NOT GET THAT ITS A JOKE

posted 1 month ago

not really, had nothing last year, but that was on a super bad team, made champs and only lost to NRG and EG in 2023, and was doing pretty well through all of this individually

posted 1 month ago

why did they think KK was washed lmao, back to back 13-0s in stage one, 3rd at bangkok, and was probably best player on the team when they lost in stage one.

posted 1 month ago

yes, i just thought it was going to be difficult for the chinese teams tomorrow (wrote this before the draw, wolves win this one for sure imo)

posted 1 month ago

AND SCREAM IS???????????????? one of the absolute worst players of all time and you think him having some dumbass statistic causes him to be more "close to goat convertision". you're exclusively looking at stats instead of any part of how they play, aspas has amazing gamesense, consistently performs at an extremely high level at international events (even today, i saw that 4k), and has understood perfectly his role in any team he's been on. LOUD, he did a ton of work taking first contact, getting information, and setting his team up for success. LEVIATAN, he took a more passive role and allowed other players to shine, while still understanding when to go for an offensive entry and when to play his life, and on MIBR, a more new team, he focuses heavily on playing close to others and letting them set him up for success. Meanwhile scream didn't know that valorant rounds had a time limit until like a month ago.

posted 1 month ago

ngl with the remaining opponents i'd be shocked if XLG makes playoffs

uh good luck with that one
