Here is the thing, the avg rank from majority of player is somewhere between bronze-gold and most of them didnt even care about vct, like i could go into solo queue tries to open up convos about recent matches and these ppl just had no clue at all.
My point is vct doesnt really appeal for a lot of people even for its own playerbase, and "suddenly shut down ur servers every week every weekend" isnt related with grand final viewer at all.
But hey that's what happened in my region, idk about others.
