and they would still crush liquid just like last time
so that's why fnatic somehow managed to lose... dude is smoking some crazy super copium since fnatic isnt good
you do realize they just crushed fnatic yesterday right?
You unironically just linked a Dan M video in 2022
you're off your plonker mate (paraphrasing)
buddy 100t just beat fnatic this don't make no sense
This statement isn't even a lie at this point its statistical fact
you do realize suygetsu literally named himself after a naruto character right?
the armor strat isn't the reason why they lost imo, same with NRG,
100T just outplayed fnatic overall
Every tournament people seem to have them favored to win the tournament over every other team despite clear problems that have been apparent since the start.
Since the inception of fnatic, the only way they managed to win competitive international series is if derke is hard carrying the rest of the team, if he's not the team just crumbles.
this loss should put into perspective that fnatic just isn't the overhyped team people think they are.
100T are currently 2-0 against EU teams, they've only ever lost internationally to an NA team.
Will we see 3-0 against EU teams?
don't remind me this one scarred me
well they also switched stax back to igl, so ig they wanted to go back to things they know that worked
forgot about that one, that one was pretty good too
(edit: forgot about gambit vs vikings during champs last year)
U got venmo bro? I can help any way I can
edit (wait nvm my b)
itll probably go to orochi at the most, Im just excited to see tatsumaki in action
i mean they did just win cod champs and qual for val champs
I don't really know what to tell you, if you genuinely think that 100T didnt come into that game with a gameplan of how Faze was going to play and protocols against things they were going to do then thats just delusion.
Sure 100T played way better that day, but teams don't just magically become better between matches.
Kinda discrediting the work the coaching staff and work the team put in general in preparation for the match.
you're missing the point entirely Faze's entire gameplan and the way they play the map was counter strated hard by 100T that whole game, if it wasn't then Faze wouldn't have won in the Upper bracket.
The same thing happens with teams like Loud vs Optic during masters 1
And the same thing happened with Nth vs Zeta in the GF.
Teams learn a lot more from a loss than they do from crushing everything. Which is why Nth came in with a really good gameplan on Zeta's strong maps to counter them.
Thats why I said a rematch, rematches against a team you just played a day or two before is always hard to win. For example Faze and 100t during LCQ in the past like 4 days.
S - FPX, Optic, PRX, DRX
A - FNATIC, LOUD, ZETA, EDG
B - XSET, KRU, 100T, Leviatan, TL
C - FURIA, BOOM, XERXIA
Edit: People like to discredit Zeta a lot, but as soon as they came out of Masters 1 they only lost one series in the Grand finals which was a rematch, also they've been bootcamping in Poland in preparation for Champs.
The only thing that really could hurt them is the loss of TENNN but he still has the ability to recover in time, Zeta, EDG, and DRX are all scrim partners so I see them all doing good.
I could also see 100t or Leviatan doing better.
TENNN still has a chance to play in champs as he is recovering fast, however I don't believe he is currently at the bootcamp with them in Poland
Sure the guy is a great analyst but I think you're looking at it the wrong way. When tier one teams go into mickey mouses they don't participate in them to solely win, they go in with a gameplan to test things out or fix things that can be ironed out easily. When a tier one team in this game loses a mickey mouse it means nothing as they're not even aiming for the win.
For example before this tournament Jonah was never main op on some maps, now he is, role swaps and different comps are a common thing to test.
holy fuck this is weird, had a competitive series and wants do something he enjoys after a loss and people still try to perpetuate this shitty ass narrative. this shit is dead
leave a bad team to win a major... are you drunk?
holy shit mwzera is buns, a month of hyping it up just for them to get 2-0ed come on now
Everyone used to op on sova and think jett was bad
glad they kept shanks as a content creator, he wouldve singlehandedly run the team into the ground
i think you're forgetting the whole thing about winning a major but stay weird ig.
thats literally what bandwagoning means kid
so far its not too crazy

Nth 2-0 meteor will be smurfing this game
eventually every team will be in need of new talent no team can keep recycling the same players in the scene over and over and expect it to work
Riot needs to implement some changes to the tournament economy throughout the year and the system itself:
Make larger 3rd party tournaments or LANs throughout the rest of the year after champs (or starting now)
While the idea of franchising means that there are no promotions, teams that are good enough to compete shouldn't have to wait for a roster change just to compete on the main stage. Keeping the idea of open brackets and new talent entering keeps the scene alive for longer.
No new talent being filtered through a lack of a healthy tier 2 scene means the sport will die fast, that's why esports like CSGO have lasted so long (not including Louvre agreement).
Thoughts?

If PRX has million number of fans i am one of them. if PRX has ten fans i am one of them. If PRX has only one fan and that is me. if PRX has no fans, that means i am no more on the earth
The heavy default style by FPX and just contacting and prodding for information is a complete stylistic difference from PRX, their default is so well put together to counter the aggression that It's catching PRX off guard since they're not used to this slow of a style.
What PRX could do to counter it.
Instead of full committing on rolling over the whole team, they should focus on getting man advantage by 1 or 2 kills and backing up and playing passive.
That seems to be their only true flaw on their defensive rounds when playing against a style like FPX.
Other than that usually their trading and offensive rounds and post plants are strong.
Edit: also they should be trying to delay them more on time as they usually get a plant down with 20-30 seconds or less into the round.
