I DONT THINK IVE EVER WATCHED A MORE INTENSE AND GREAT SERIES EVER

EMEA

Basically, Acend has a lot of personal issues going on with the roster which has led to a weaker performance overall throughout their group stage. Gambit is m3c because riot doesnt want them representing a russian org. Fnc is looking like the best team in emea with the addition of braveaf. Guild is looking extremely strong at the moment but has had some shaky moments vs g2 and fnc. G2 looks pretty good right now and nukkye is doing amazingly. FPX look amazing with ange1 however due to ukraine russia conflict he cannot play so they subbed him and they look a bit more shaky. Liquid looks weaker than usual and is using very unique comps.

NA

The guard was an unknown team with young talent but they have turned the heads of everyone with their extremely strong performance. They just beat Sen yesterday in a very dominant fashion. C9 looks like the best NA team right now. Optic looks really good as usual. V1 looks revitalized with the addition of zander and penny is popping off, they were thought to be #2 na team behind c9 but surprisingly lost to LG yesterday. Sen does not look good at all right now, they need to figure out something asap. LG looked mediocre but after their win vs V1 they are looking better than previously though of. Knights is one of the most underrated teams of the tourney with young talent, some more match exp they can beat solid teams. Xset looks solid but its cryo and friends.

Possibly 2-0 since gambit is extremely good at breeze which is arguably guilds best map. If guild get haven (unlikely) then maybe a 2-1

posted about 3 years ago

That wouldn’t change the fact that they are Russian citizens and therefore cannot travel or get a visa to anywhere

I hope so! With the current situation it doesn’t look like it unfortunately

Didn’t know that whoops

They just acquired Pyth so who could it be? Def no cned since pyth is a Jett main. I’m having trouble thinking of players who aren’t duelists worth 7 figs.

Sadly I have to agree with this. NA doesn’t look too good right now.

Plus every other Na team shits on Brazil’s best teams

Don’t care + ratio + make it out of groups and then we will talk good to your region

Pks? Lg?

4th seeds stepping it up to take a map from the first seed 🤝

More teams r running breach on that map. Might be close now, they were ahead on the meta then.

Idc who wins as long as it’s a banger series

Breeze: Guild or M3C or VK
Fracture: Guard? Fpx?
Haven: C9 or Fnc
Ascent: Optic, C9
Split: Acend, Xset
Bind: G2, fnc, optic
Icebox: Fnc?

Wait why won’t they have wippie??

posted about 3 years ago

I’m not saying he’s bad, just saying that we shouldn’t overhype his impact this early

posted about 3 years ago

Who is this M3C team? They’ve never been to a lan so how can it be an era??? Gambit era but they disbanded sadge

posted about 3 years ago

You’re forgetting that they’re playing against a not so good team that hasn’t done their research. In champ teams were hyper aware of the possibility of his lurks. He was getting read, in this match he isn’t. We will have to wait till he is on the international stage to see if he gets the same value as he used to. Insane player non the less.

His awping skill better than 90% of awping jetts

posted about 3 years ago

while i do agree, these "residentsleeper teams" are extremely underrated and have put up a damn good performance making na playoffs very enjoyable

posted about 3 years ago

true but then scream needs to work on his jett

you cant leave it up to aim. if they have an off day they are done

posted about 3 years ago

yea the only issue is that he is igling so he cannot play jett. nivera is good too. Overall they need to figure out roles. Also they have no designated jett entry

posted about 3 years ago

7ssk7 is really good too

posted about 3 years ago

Imo their problem is they dont have set roles. There is no set duelist, sova, controller etc. Its just whatever works and whoever is willing to play the role. This leads to no consistency and imo is bad. Also they dont have a good jett/op player which is a huge downside for the team.

it is closed for the rest of NA challengers. We will have one open for emea challanger playoffs though!

FOR REAL. So far playoffs has not been a disappointment. All teams showing up.

posted about 3 years ago

Yep only time will tell. This is a very young and promising roster. If given time to develop they can do really good.

posted about 3 years ago

True to that

posted about 3 years ago

He’s no longer around so idk if we can rank him.

posted about 3 years ago

I feel the same to be honest. Their best 3 players are cryo, dephh and zekken. The rest two don’t have much firepower. If they pick up a solid sova and sentinel they could be even better

posted about 3 years ago

Despite xsets loss, can we commend cryo for dropping 65 kills in a 3 game series and going +25??? He’s absolutely insane especially for this being his first 2-3 months in the t1 scene. He has a bright future ahead

posted about 3 years ago

But they didn’t. There are a lot of ifs.

At the moment they look extremely strong. Their strategy combined with the firepower from derke and braveaf has done wonders for them. In terms of consistency I think gambit is still better however this could easily change

posted about 3 years ago

true. I guess we will truly find out in masters!

posted about 3 years ago

why though? practice with those comps and new strats no matter how bad the team is always beneficial? it doesnt make sense

posted about 3 years ago

Idk man their comps are hella weird and outdated. Im really doubtful on their performance at masters, but im ready to be proved wrong

posted about 3 years ago

I have HEARD that Riot is trying to work with iceland gov to get an appeal for russian players getting visas. IDK if it is true or not. Worst case they play from a facility in their home country for masters.

posted about 3 years ago

Bjor is sentinel no?

posted about 3 years ago

Dude they won against t2-t3 teams. Let’s not be too quick to say “they’re back”

posted about 3 years ago

But they did vs liquid. So the two results don’t really make sense

posted about 3 years ago

Liquid plays well when it matters. There is a good chance they qual but they can choke hard aswell.

posted about 3 years ago

I guess we wont know till masters
