BR hasn't gotten a single team out of groups the entirety of last year

posted about 2 years ago

I dont think you realize how intense the competition has gotten this year. Teams are catching up to other emea teams. Sure liquid did really good against top emea teams, however in the end they were not the best and got a freebie to masters. Plus their comps and roles are questionable so overall they look a lot weaker

Basically G2, Guard, Prx, Loud/Kru are all guaranteed at least 8th place and are placed directly into the top 8 DE bracket.

I think groups could possibly be

FNC, DRX, Optic, Br/Latam lcq

Xerxia, TL, Loud/kru, Zeta

What are your predictions based off this?

Good prediction

Same

Yea I know it’s very stupid

Nip/Levi

Saya was his og name. T1 made him change it because it wasn’t “marketable enough”

Hot takes:
At least one emea team gets grouped
Loud makes it much further than people expect (maybe even top 4)
PRX dont do very well (in death group)
DRX do very well due to their Lan exp

w opinion. loud winning would be cool too

If faze do pick up both supaman and poised I think roles would be fucked up.

Supa replaces shot up as their primary controller however how would poised replace flyuh?

Poised typically plays a sentinel, and logically he would replace flyuh at the initiator role since dicey is their primary sentinel.

Good roster moves but I think it’s a bit confusing…

It’s insane. They can play top tier on almost any map now which can’t be said for a lot of other T1 teams. If they fix up their split and bind they are golden going into Iceland.

LOUD, sure they are a brazilian team so expectations are low however this team works so well together with strategy and good aim. imo they will make a huge impact in masters

I think masters is going to get delayed.

Here is my logic. Teams only have around 2 weeks to get a visa, practice/prepare, travel and quarantine. On top of that we have the russia drama so many emea teams will be fucked over either not being able to come or having to take a much longer route to masters. Finally, the br/latam lcq is on april 1st. how will they have enough time to travel, prep, and quarantine? there are just so many complications, so i think they will delay it 2-3 weeks.

Banter is banter. If you do it be prepared to receive it. Can’t get mad at it

posted about 2 years ago

How is it too far? It’s not like it’s public information lmfao

Lol G2 does this every game they win and it’s ok. But if someone else does it to G2 how dare they! The hypocrisy

posted about 2 years ago

The reason Wardell left TSM is because he was unwilling to boot camp for an extended period of time. I’m guessing 100T want to bootcamp for a while so idk if it will work out.

He’s insane I trust that he can

posted about 2 years ago

Based on peak performance I would say

  1. FPX
  2. Fnatic
  3. Optic
  4. G2
  5. Guard
posted about 2 years ago

Hoping they change the narrative for Br teams on the international stage! They look like good competitors!

posted about 2 years ago

I agree but once G2 got this far people started overhyping the fuck out of them

posted about 2 years ago

I’m not gonna go through the effort of that. But you can easily search around and find a few.

posted about 2 years ago

Still they needed to be humbled

I’ve seen lots

posted about 2 years ago

Bro g2 is getting their asses handed to them when they got subs in and the roles are fucked. Imagine g2 playing prime fpx.

posted about 2 years ago

Actually thinking y’all would be the #1 seed lmfao. Imagine getting ass whooped on YOUR map pick.

posted about 2 years ago

The legitimate answer would be to drop xeta however, he had so many clutch moments that arguably won them so many games and he has his own value so I would say they should stick with this roster.

posted about 2 years ago

I know someone with a diginitas flair isn’t talking

posted about 2 years ago

With that logic we can say that fpx isn’t good too. I’m saying it because I’m impressed with their gameplay and I believe they are a team that can compete on the international level.

How about you watch this ratio!

posted about 2 years ago

Personally for me it would be
Fnatic V Kru rematch
Optic V Xerxia rematch
G2 V Guard (really hope icebox gets played)
Loud V any emea or na team

posted about 2 years ago

Fnatic V kru rematch would be a banger

posted about 2 years ago

FRRR. So many new teams and in a new meta. Plus all of the teams look really solid.

posted about 2 years ago

If we are looking at peak performance then it’s gotta be either Loud (not confirmed going yet) or fnatic imo. But as of recent it’s probs G2. Also guard could be a huge X factor since they’re a young a new team and not heavily studied.

posted about 2 years ago

Going nuclear

posted about 2 years ago

Guard V g2 on icebox would be insane

posted about 2 years ago

Yep thats what im hoping

posted about 2 years ago

there is a group stage so its all randomly drawn without seeding advantage

posted about 2 years ago

timeout means nothing imo. its just to think over but i really think they arent trying at all

posted about 2 years ago

i really hope this isnt fnatic trying lmfao. they are so lost

posted about 2 years ago

Your hopium is through the roof lmfao. if u loose go to GE flair and take on their personality

posted about 2 years ago

If champs has showed us anything, it’s that all the regions have massively improved and looking at the challengers playoffs games for each region I stand by this. New teams are coming in, so strategies will have to be studied and changed. Plus we are on a new meta so it will be even more interesting. Enough with the region beef, let’s just watch some good ass valorant.
