The main knock against TSM was that they had four duelist players in Wardell, Drone, Subroza, and Bang. If TSM drops Subroza, they do not need to add another duelist in his place. They should add a true support player instead, like they did with Drone/Leviathan. Maybe someone who mains controller agents, since Bang apparently doesn't play them much. Nothing against thief, of course, but team comp matters. The only support player thief plays is Cypher, and we already have Hazed.

The team has much more knowledge about these players than we do as fans, so it shouldn't be my place to question their moves. I just don't trust TSM management/coaching yet. Time will tell.

I'm a big believer in having support players who can frag. Cutler was a better Sova than Drone, but Drone was a much better fragger. Both were weak spots to the team. I definitely don't want to add another duelist player, so I agree with you there. Hopefully this move turns out to be a net positive, because we did replace an ex-duelist filling Sova with a Sova main. The info gathering thing you mentioned could be huge, and maybe he does that better than Critical. Maybe he has "better comms," too lol.

I think he has more agent flexibility than Critical; he plays Viper on Breeze. Maybe TSM can expand that to other maps, like Split.

According to one source, the differences in playstyle were paramount in the decision to choose him over Critical

What does that mean, I wonder? BBG Critical often top-fragged for his team, unlike Leviathan. From checking their match histories, Critical also had more impact rounds and clutches than Leviathan. Critical played against better opponents and often won, even against Sentinels. This mysterious "playstyle difference" better not be another botched judgement call from Hazed and Chet, because I am not a fan of this signing. Happy to be proved wrong.

and this would be a good move for the future of the team.

let me be clear, i am NOT here to call kyedae ugly, but she just isn’t my type. i prefer a little tanner and a little thicker. so i don’t get all the “simping” or hype around her. but i guess a lot of gamer guys go wild over pasty girl streamers lol.

hiko plays sova so much better than drone. but drone is a better fragger. i feel like drone wouldn't be a comp fit though.

never gonna happen

Most played agent - Omen, 1197 rounds.

posted about 2 years ago

eh, i think most ppl had him top3, but since we’re tsm fans we’re allowed to be biased lol

posted about 2 years ago

double initiator is fine, viper is fantastic, raze is the best duelist on the map. needs a second controller, preferably over the jett or maybe the skye.

i have more channel points than you and i havent watched him regularly in six months. lol

drone got tilted af when he queued with wardell like a week ago

posted about 2 years ago

i think sinatraa isn’t quite as cracked as some ppl choose to remember. very good player, very good sova, but i wonder if he could actually be a difference maker on tsm, especially considering he hasn’t officially competed or even scrimmed in several months.

posted about 2 years ago

asuna is on another level than bang, at least at this point. then again i haven’t been able to watch much of bang yet

go check my comment history you random dumbass, i was calling to remove cutler before anyone else. it was the right move. but if we can’t find a sova before the next qualifier in like, a week, then yeah i wouldn’t be opposed to letting cutler play for just that event and never again. now fuck off you clueless heffer

play brim and sit in your smokes with shotguns it’s super tilting and funny af

i’m not sure what you mean by “again,” but i’ve been pretty pessimistic ab my team for a while. not all our moves will work out, but changes are necessary to not be ass. so as long as that happens i’ll be satisfied. thanks for being concerned ab me tho ;)

only temporarily lol

any twitch or YT, or just from his streamed matches?

posted about 2 years ago

what about leviathan is so good? i haven't watched him play at all really

posted about 2 years ago

they want bang to entry since wardell and subroza are baiters. i thought bang was gonna be an astra main for tsm, but astra fell out of the meta after they picked him up.

posted about 2 years ago

imo...

1) Wardell
2) Hazed - for consistently mediocre play, which is better than inconsistency imo. he deserves less credit than i give him bc he's a shit IGL, but anyway.
3-5) bang, subroza, drone - all wildly inconsistent atm

posted about 2 years ago

I like drone. Drone is cracked. He was absolutely insane for a very long time. If he actually streamed, he's cracked enough to get views. However, the current team isn't getting it done, so changes have to happen. Nothing personal against him. A change of scenery may help him.

posted about 2 years ago

subroza isn't good enough to rebuild around. ppl thought he was a god tier lurking omen, but he played omen and was shit this past qualifier. he's a bot on pheonix/reyna, and skye on every map doesn't really fit the team comp. love him, cracked in ranked and has his moments in pro play, but he can't be the best player on tsm if tsm wants to be successful. he has to be one of the worst players on the team to make it successful.

posted about 2 years ago

we need a sova badly, this would be a fantastic pick up. then we just need an actual controller main, and mabye an actual sentinels player to replace hazed.

posted about 2 years ago

i wouldn't be opposed to bringing cutler back temporarily on sova, he was serviceable as a sova. shit on astra, but decent on sova.

posted about 2 years ago

i get it, their strats are either non existent or very bad. i like him on sentinels, though. i would be down to drop him after the next qualifier. that gives them time to find a new IGL and actually practice with him. or maybe they can find another IGL and demote hazed to a normal player, replace subroza.

posted about 2 years ago

the day has come that i have agreed with nsg observer. but it needs to happen after this next qualifier, give him one more chance

posted about 2 years ago

now why the hell would we bench our IGL and the only player who played consistently well in this past qualifier... smh. subroza is next, then hazed, then wardell. imho.

posted about 2 years ago

Wardell, Subroza, Bang, Critical, Hazed

imo we have a solid sentinels player and a fantastic sova player. i still don't see how subroza and bang will fit in, but it's good that tsm isn't scared to make changes. like what i'm seeing so far.

posted about 2 years ago

he runs around doing crazy shit against ez competition and falls back to his "sit in the back with an op" ways against ppl who can shit on him

posted about 2 years ago

100% with you on this. No content creation, didn't maximize the sova util, hasn't even been fragging recently to make up for it. Also agree that Roza is next due to his inconsistency. love both though.

posted about 2 years ago

another thread was already made about this fyi

but i’m happy with changes. will miss drone a LOT, but change is necessary. eventually tsm will find something that works.

posted about 2 years ago

i loved drone for so long based solely on his phoenix fragging. drone lost impact on phoenix, though, and he’s a terrible sova (crisp aim still, love the guy, def has a future).

solid move imo. imagine if we had kept brax, who could take over on sova, and still picked up bang.

neither drone nor subroza is looking good right now. at all. and i’m a fan of both of them, but damn.

posted about 2 years ago

idk the NA region is very inconsistent outside of sentinels, maybe it’s all the roster changes. then again, BR and KR are similar with Gamelanders and VS. EU has a bunch of solid teams, but they seem rather inconsistent, too. i feel like their best teams didn’t make iceland
