IMO, since NRG dont really have a consistent 'star player', the only conclusion I can draw is that either hazed's IGLing is really good or that the coaching staff is really good. Thats why I decided to keep them

agreed. Unless we can magically fix our dogshit IGLs, Coaches and Adaptability; we probably should export our best players to European teams so that there is at least a sliver of a hope for a MENA representative at LAN.

many ppl clowning on this post but actually its a valid question. I genuinely believe that some (not all, just some) MENA players (this applies mostly to alvar tho) can compete in Tier 1 EMEA leagues.

I disagree with -Nivera. He was their mid-fragger statistically at champs and has a great bond with ScreaM. Give him more time on initiators, he will improve. He's already shown glimpses of brilliance on Breach and KAY/O and if he keeps this up I believe he can mold himself into something great.

tbh the MENA talent isn't even that bad. Players like alvar could compete at a higher level than vrls in theory. Its just that our IGLs and strats and adaptability sucks ass. When we fix that I guarantee you there will be at least one full MENA roster competing at a high level

I'm pretty sure Cloud no longer lives in Russia. Why would a CIS org like NaVi pick up an arguably worse, non-CIS player for more money when they can instead keep their arguably better CIS player for absolutely free?

if thats true, it would be such a backstab to Cloud. He's been the heart and soul of that roster for so long and they replace him for someone like Zyppan

even so, seeing how they dropped tier 1 russian talent like cloud, I don't think they're looking to sign any more russians. If they were, they probably wouldn't've dropped Cloud only to (potentially) get Zyppan in his place.

theres a big difference between signing new Russian players and keeping old ones.

People are talking about FPX Roster -> NaVi but what about Acend roster (-L1NK + ANGE1) -> NaVi? It seems pretty plausible to me especially since there were some early rumors of NaVi wanting to go with Eastern and Central European talent, only ANGE1 was leaked to be joining NaVi, not the rest of FPX, and because I don't think NaVi, a Ukrainian org, would sign Russian players after taking such an anti-war stance. Lmk what yall think of this tho. I think its way more likely that NaVi go this route instead.

EDIT: Damn everyone on here really underestimating Cloud who has proven himself time and time again to be one of the best in EMEA huh. No worries. Its just more opportunities for good orgs to come in and pick up this dude. He will prove y'all wrong once he makes franchising mark my words :)
