i asked best jett not biggest bot

posted about 2 years ago

People say cNed but he got jett diffed by the boomer grand slam winner. so can we say Nitr0 is best jett in valorant rn?

I agree with Steel that with first to 13 format, games snowball out of control. You lose one gun round, the other team builds off a solid ult economy off your save round and has a big advantage in the second gun round too.

With how many come backs we have seen once a team gets a hard read on the other team, having one additional guaranteed gun round would really help set apart the top IGLs

Looks like it. Their split comp has Reyna in it, they lost to G2 and had to change something. Tenz looked completely unprepared on Raze, he was missing easy nade lineups, etc.

With their group format having so many matches, I doubt they had a lot of time to actually practice a comp change

They lost in OT to andbox on Haven. Go on Split, panic and put Tenz on Raze. Lose it.

IMO they dont lose the series if Tenz plays Reyna on split and carries them

100T has higher seed so gets to ban bind. 100T has the upper hand in taking Have and Breeze since Gambit is meh on them. They just have to win one of Icebox, Split, or Ascent which should be totally doable

If Gambit had higher seed and could play Bind then it would be different story i feel

As an honest EU fan... it's over for us, the (fat, inbred) americans are right we should go back to cs:go we have no future here

nitr0 best jett in the world?

posted about 2 years ago

after Acend performance, i dont think they even deserve 2

posted about 2 years ago

NA and KR are tier 1 regions.

JP, BR are tier 2.

EMEA tier 3

i thought adding the spots should go to Brazil and Japan would give it away as bait but nope people still fell for it lmfao

posted about 2 years ago

I agree with this. EU is so bad

posted about 2 years ago

just wait until they play a good team. or heck even Acend can turn this around once they realize they're giving VS too much respect

posted about 2 years ago

they play like noobs in my ranked games, they take every fight and dont buddy up. Any half decent (from NA) will beat them imo

posted about 2 years ago

4 spots for these noobs!? Take 2 of their spots and give them to more deserving regions like BR and JP

posted about 2 years ago

because nobody wants to watch games of a tier 2 region playing a tier 3 region

posted about 2 years ago

SEN proved its a viable strategy. They usually play for retake and give away the site for free and teams who rely on set plays/utility usage couldn't do anything about it (i.e. Fnatic)

posted about 2 years ago
  • coordinate the most perfect utility set play to take the site
  • other team leaves site and plays for 5v5 retake
  • lose the round

lol

Hahahahaha NA 2nd seed still shit on your flair too

posted about 2 years ago

I am sorry, there is no other way to put this but you just got shit on

literally nobody cares about to hear about 5v5 retakes bs just start the damn match before i piss myself

100T's best 3 maps are Ascent, Icebox, and Breeze. If Gambit wants to win, they need to make sure maximum one of those 3 maps is played

posted about 2 years ago

100T is arguably best team in the world on Ascent and Icebox, even Sentinels ban those maps against 100T. Gambit T side on Ascent is really bad while 100T is really strong on CT. They will get like 2 T side rounds max on Ascent against 100T

No way Gambit takes the gamble to ban Breeze and pick Ascent. That would mean 100T picks Icebox for second map and its ggs from there

posted about 2 years ago

thanks fixed it

posted about 2 years ago
  • Gambit bans ascent
  • 100T bans bind
  • Gambit picks Split. Wins it
  • 100T picks icebox. Wins it
  • Gambit picks Haven. Toss up map

We saw 100T beat XSET on Haven who seemed too nervous during qualifiers. Then they got stomped by NV and SEN who were not afraid of aggressively pushing on defence against 100T.

Gambit should take the series 2-1 unless they get nervous and throw or Steel goes back to cypher and out-rats then

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah this masters would have been so much higher quality if it had teams like XSET, Liquid, Nuturn, etc. leading to more cross regional match ups between top teams. Apart from SMB vs Acend match, so far it has been one sided stopms

posted about 2 years ago

Give one spot to BR. Combine KR and JP to have 3 slots total. A team like Nuturn would have done so much better than HL or CR but they lost out because Riot gave spots to teams worse than Shroud and Friends

posted about 2 years ago

Icebox will be exiting to watch. 100T and Envy both been running double controllers on it instead of a Sage. It'll be a cool style clash if it happens

posted about 2 years ago

That's true they looked awful vs SMB on ascent.

Icebox would an interesting match up. Icebox whoever attacks and defends A site better wins (B is way too hard to plant). Gambit will have a hard time hitting A site with Asuna and Ethan playing there so it'll have to come down to taking as many CT rounds as possible

posted about 2 years ago

given how lacklustre Gambit's T side is and how strong 100T is on CT, what maps do you think will be played?

Gambit bans Icebox (100Ts best map)
100T ban bind

Gambit picks Haven (50/50 if 100T doesn't run their troll triple initiator no sentinel comp on Haven again)
100T picks ascent (100T wins)
Gambit picks Split (Gambit wins)

Gambit has the edge here with their higher seed otherwise they'll be in trouble if they had to play Breeze instead of Split against 100T

posted about 2 years ago

The gap between Sentinels and NV isn't big. They literally won 13-11 with rounds being thrown due to Yay's lack of discipline. Once NV gets more practice with Yay, there won't be much of a gap

posted about 2 years ago

100T used it successfully on Ascent. On Haven it looked god awful since that map is all about quick flanks.

IMO it can be viable on maps like Bind Ascent and Split that are CT sided. On Icebox, Breeze, and Haven it's gonna be a disaster

posted about 2 years ago

lmfao this dude is a menace to society shooting dead bodies and t*abagging. Hopefully C9 makes it to champions to see more this shithousery on lan

posted about 2 years ago

Massively underestimating sentinels. Most of these teams depend on their star Jett to take aggressive peeks and get an early pick. Against Sentinels they'll be taking that aggro fight against Tenz and Sick.

Kinda like how Asuna doesn't pop off against Sentinels because the other guy taking aggressive fights against him is Tenz.

If you dont take aggro fights against Sentinels, they'll just aggressively flank you. If you play fast, they'll kill your rush with either Astra utility spam or a jett OP. These people dont know what they are up against

posted about 2 years ago

EU fans are the worst of the worst

posted about 2 years ago

Whoever starts CT side ends up snowballing rounds. If Gambit started CT, they very well could have won

posted about 2 years ago

SMB was holding angles in which having higher ping is a massive disadvantage. Gambit lost because they kept dry peeking + not getting trades after losing initial fight

posted about 2 years ago

Hating on SMB for high ping is baffling. OP'ing on high ping is almost impossible and Gambit kept dying to it. Gambit just was bad today

posted about 2 years ago

Sage was meta months ago on ascent. None of the top 4 NA teams run her anymore. They either use Skye, Kay/O or another duelist (i.e. Raze for Envy). Teams like 100T who used to run Sage on Ascent have dropped her have looked 10 times better on that map ever since.

If you run double sentinel and your controller is an omen, you cant counter a jett op. Gambit struggled a lot on T side against Acend yesterday and SMB today

posted about 2 years ago

It is not the ping. Gambit are just tragic at T side and have no utility to deal with a jett OP. Which one of their agents can push the jett off an angle? None!

They only kinda useable utility they have on executes is the omen flash but thats not enough

posted about 2 years ago

They have better fundamentals. Gambit looks unable to get a single trade going

posted about 2 years ago

Picking a sage over a Skye, Kay/O or even a second duelist seems to be shooting yourself in the foot especially on ascent. Gambit has no info beyond Sova or any flashes to use on executes. Add to that the lack of Astra and its not hard to see why SMB is winning 8-0 on CT

posted about 2 years ago

all my takes are W, EU fans are just too blinded by bias to see the truth

posted about 2 years ago

He isn't having an off day imo, Gabmit knows how to actually play around him. Acend is way too one dimensional

posted about 2 years ago

Acend are like the TSM of EU. They depend on their jett op to carry them and when they run into a team that doesn't give them free picks, they struggle

posted about 2 years ago

Acend one of best teams on bind is getting shit on by Gambit running Astra instead a troll pick like brimstone
