Maybe it’s just me, but calling it STAGE 1 & STAGE 2 kinda makes the event feel less important? Like, when they announce "THIS TEAM IS YOUR STAGE 1 CHAMPIONS" it sounds off. I’d prefer if they used something like midseason/summer or whatever instead.

Decrease the travel speed of the Relay Bolt

But if riot decide to put an end to this madness, they could :

Reduce the number of slides from 2 > 1, or keep it at 2 but make it non-rechargeable
Decrease fuel recharge speed by 25%

VCT Partnered academy teams can compete in Challengers but aren’t eligible for Ascension. So, if they somehow manage to win their regional split and qualify for Ascension, do they get replaced by the runner-up, or can a non-partnered team pick up their player to represent (g2 case)?

1. Team that put a number being consistently good but not winning anything including region leagues GF (drx 2024)
2. Team with mid-bad performance, but somehow at some part of the season made a crazy run (kru lcq 2023, t1 2024)

1. But what if 100T/Sen somehow mess up their season and get relegated? Will Riot let that slide? They have one of the biggest fanbases, bringing in constant revenue (both financially for the organization and through viewership). Instead of just forcing the worst 6 for them to compete, Riot could evaluate all partnered teams based on their performance over 2 seasons. The 3 least satisfying teams (each leagues) that don’t meet the standards (performance and/or fanbase growth) would have to fight in a relegation match. The loser gets kicked out of the league, and a new partnered team replaces them.
2. Cap the teams at 14 or 16, with 2 more partnered teams invited and 2 promoted from ascension. It would probably mess with the schedule, and I haven’t even mentioned the logistics (money).
3. Maybe make it 5 points.

They should bring back LCQ for qualification to champs, and in top of that ascension finished before LCQ so the winner can participate in the LCQ as wild card. I dont really mind with the current championship points system, but what i suggest bring higher stakes and it would be crazy if the ascension winner winning the whole LCQ.
