I do agree with what you are talking about here. Util should be like second nature for a top tier flex, and it doesn't seem like it's there for him just yet. Whether it will ever be there by the next season is impossible to know, but I don't think that we can judge him based on his first few times playing a more supportive role. If he does underperform during the next regular season then I will agree with you about if he should be on flex, or even if he should be on the team at all.
