I can tell you that even if they gave a free premium deluxe vandal/phantom/operator skin for getting gold or + rank or just for playing ranked and keeping a good behaviour , the improvement would be minimal. Shooters are just doomed to have ego rankers no-lifers all the time.
Faceit probably won't ever happen because how closed and non-cooperative RIOT is with third parties.
