Xerxia put up a really close fight with Fpx who is 2nd seed emea. 3rd seed Guild already beat Optic and Kru who beat Loud. Now I don't like to play the game where team A beat team B who beat team C, therefore A > C, but it goes to show how close all the teams are and Xerxia being able to beat Loud or Optic is also extremely likely.

not really, the previous guy was basically saying optic would be almost nothing without yay
yet he was the sole reason optic lost to guild
same here, people are singing praises for suygetsu acting like he would have carried the team to victory (which we have absolutely no way of knowing) despite getting absolutely hammered the last 2 maps. my point is that even if he is extremely good like yay, just like yay he could have still played poorly

yeah ik, both maps were super close which only emphasizes yay's poor performance (and guild's success in shutting him out) as the difference maker

yeah guild did really well, most people aren't giving them enough credit
but still it builds into my point, if he wasn't so reliant on an op and performed just a bit better optic would have most likely won. Fpx got absolutely thrashed the last 2 maps, I really don't see how having suygetsu would have made enough of a difference to help win the last 2 maps. Just like the pervious guy mentioning yay (who ended up essentially losing the match for the rest of the team), how can everyone be so sure suygetsu would have performed really well and won the game for them?

tbh not at all, we know how close all the regions were as proven by the last Lan event. I saw a solid chance of Kru beating Loud even tho I still gave Loud the slight edge in my pickems (they did poorly last lan but improved a lot in their domestic matches since and looked better than almost all br teams imo). I also predicted Guild beating Optic which proved to be correct.
