I think a European football style relegation system would be really good, brings lots of intrigue especially among the bottom of tier 1 and the top of tier 2 where usually it’s just really boring

Imo CIS and Turkey should make their own region idk what it would be called but that would bring lots of competition among the two regions without making it a completely bloodbath where really good teams don’t make it bc of not enough slots, and make EU, CIS/TKY and NA have equal amounts of slots. Also, making LATAM its own region just seems like a pretty bad idea, let’s be honest here LATAM teams aren’t the cream of the crop. Put LATAM north in NA and LATAM south in Brazil and make them play with better regions to promote development

Dicey is a very solid Jett, I'd say he could be a jett player on a top 7-10 NA team, but putting him as the main OP on a team that's supposed to contend for champions? Yeah idk about that

I mean some very exclusive schools still require SAT and if your school offers it why not do it, it could give you a boost in your college resume, PSAT 11 is useful bc if you get a good enough score you could qualify for NMQST tho

Yay is clearly one of if not the best Jett in NA and possibly the world, but as an all around duelist TenZ is better, TenZ is just far more flexible with his agent pool, and as the meta continues TenZ will be the far better option for the future, especially with all the controversy with Jett and her recent "nerfs"

If you like action stuff then I would suggest something like My Hero Academia or Demon Slayer, if you like romance or romcoms I would say Kaguya-Sama: Love is War, if you wan't to see some beautiful animation and don't mind getting into a convoluted and confusing timeline and watch order I suggest watching the Fate Series, and if you want to watch a fantastic story with interesting character and don't mind a confusing story and watch order and also 11 year olds being sexually assaulted then I'd say the Monogatari Series, for a very wholesome Slice of Life then try K-On!, and if you want to watch a sad romance then try Your Lie in April

America's identity as a "melting pot of the world" has made it so that foods from all over the world can be centralized all over the world, I live in a relatively small town and just in my city there are countless Italian, Japanese, Indian, Thai, Filipino, Chinese, and Mexican restaurants. Does that mean that those are all American foods now? The only truly American foods would be stuff like burgers, fries, and barbecue. If a British dude was to set up a barbecue pit in London does that make it British food now? If an Indian dude were to start a burger chain does that make it Indian food? And even among burgers, fries, hot dogs, and barbecue and all the other foods that are considered "American", barbecue is basically the only food that is unique to the US, the rest you can find of equal quality in any other country in the world.

Out of all the characters in SAO, I don't get how someone watches it and comes to the conclusion that Asuna is best girl. There are so many other characters that have far more interesting and compelling backstories and arcs than Asuna that are sidelined because she was first. In my opinion, Alice and Sinon both are more interesting characters than Asuna ever will be. Sinon deals with issues of PTSD and childhood trauma, while Alice tackles the idea of ethics in the context of artificial intelligence and what it means to be a human. Asuna starts off as half-hearted waifu-bait and ends her arcs with some bullshit attempt to make the viewer care for her.

I see fewer comps with sentinels coming in the future for 100T

posted about 2 years ago

I still think it’s strange that 100T will be running with no Sentinel comps, but with the way they ran the 3 initiator comp, I think no sentinel or possibly sage comps are the future

He isn’t criticizing Nitr0, he’s saying that B0i is barely a t1 player who shouldn’t have a starting roster spot on any top 3 team, which I kinda agree with

very different circumstances here

This is probably what they’re going for. I think they’ve seen some type of problem with the one duelist set up they used to run, and they are going to run a more aggressive set up. My question now is who is going to play sentinels, and if they are even going to play them at all?

They are definitely a team in NA

But actually, I think Sentinels can still beat them, they just need to fix some issues with team comp. I think the team with a massive problem is 100 Thieves, their ceiling right now does not seem very high, I get that Asuna is still developing as a player, but the rest of the team has been playing for years, and a couple of them are right now a solid support player at best and a deadweight at worst. Their skill ceiling right now is completely dependent on how Asuna develops as a player, and the way they play the games it feels like they need somebody on their team to drop 30-40 to even compete. Plus, they have been playing for months together, unlike Envy, so if Envy can already body 100T when they presumably have more experience together is a bad sign for the future.

My top 3 NA right now is:
t1. Sentinels
t1. Envy

  1. 100T

Valorant is a tactical fps in name only, it really is it's own thing. It combines the exciting spontaneity of many faster fps games like call of duty and overwatch and the tactical nature of games such as cs:go. I'd say it's less of a cs:go copy and more of a r6 revamp, except take the concept of the different operators and put that on a cs:go map with an economy based game and make it more fantastical. At least, that's in my limited experience playing r6

the coach cannot speak to the team at all during the game other than during a timeout, the igl makes all the calls preround and midround, and the coach can give input during a timeout, otherwise the igl is basically the coach of a team outside of a timeout.

Ok so basically it's a 5v5 tactical shooter that is similar to cs go but with abilities. There are 4 general categories of agents, the duelists, initiators, controllers, and sentinels.

The 5 duelists are jett, reyna, raze, phoenix, and yoru. These 5 are almost always the entry fragger or the second man in. Their kit is made for taking fights and being aggressive, and it is a general rule you put your best aimers on a duelist to take advantage of their skill. Some people that play duelists are TenZ, Asuna, Cned, and Heat.

The 4 initiators are kay/0 skye, breach, and sova. These 3 are the support agents, they send out flashes, get info, and overall support their fragger with their util to make the kill easier. Breach is a straight up flasher and concuss agent, with an earthquake that causes impaired vision and the inability to ads, sova has lots of info gathering util with his drone and darts, and skye is a middle ground between the two with the added benefit of being far more aggressive than the two. Kay/0 is unique with his dart that takes abilities away for a short amount of time, along with his molly and flash. Some people that play initatiors are Ethan, Crashies, and Koldamenta.

The 4 controllers are astra, omen, brimstone, and viper. These 4 are the smokers/vision deniers, they cut up the sites and make it so the duelists can isolate 1v1s far easier. Astra, brimstone and viper also are renowned for their postplant util with brimstone and viper's molotovs and astra's suck that makes it very difficult for the defenders to defuse. Some people that play controllers are Nitr0, Marved and Zombs.

The 3 sentinels are sage, cypher, and killjoy. These 3 are the defensive anchors and lurkers. Their job is to be the site lockdown, and us their util to make a site execute as difficult as possible, and also on attack lurk and make flanks impossible or very difficult. Sage is a very unique case among the sentinels, as she is used very aggressively, as her tools are straight up delay tools, but the other 2 agents are far more passive with util made for getting easy frags on people getting caught in the util. Some people that play sentinels are NatS, dapr, and FNS.

Overall, valorant is far faster than csgo, with many agents thirsting for fights and many abilities encouraging gunfights. Also, the verticality of the game is incredibly different, with many agents being able to get onto strange off angles relatively easily. One of the most important parts of the game is the team composition, due to the fact that many abilities are unique to a specific agent. Many comps are shown to favor a specific type of playstyle, such as a double duelist set up showing that the team prefers an aggressive approach to the game, or a triple initiator setup that a team prefers fast and quick executes.

Finally a huge difference is the presence of ultimates. Ultimate abilities are huge abilities that are potentially round changing, such as jett's bladestorm, which is basically a free rifle that has 100% accuracy even while moving, and replenishes when you get a kill. Many rounds hinge on how and when ultimates are used, especially as the game goes on, and a kind of secondary goal is farming up ultimate orbs which give an ult point to make progressing to an ult far easier. Some ults are much better than others, but overall it is generally though that ultimate abilities are the most powerful in the game, and the presence of them are round changing.

For a new viewer I can see why it's very complicated, but listening to the casters will really help, as they basically just name all the util that's thrown out and really helps to be able to notice what's happening.
