no matter the outcome, we all know who really wins here, riot's viewership statistics

SAO S1 isn't bad, and Alicization/War of the Underworld is pretty good, everything else is mid asf and this is coming from someone who owns all the SAO novels

G2 is like a combination of SEN and T1, they leak godly players the same way T1 does and they have the same early game success and modern day mediocrity that SEN has (or had before LCQ)

posted about 3 years ago

is T1 even allowed to still play in NA with this roster with 3 koreans?

posted about 3 years ago

at least G2 qualified for LANs in the past, T1 always has been dogshit lmfaoo

posted about 3 years ago

I thought riot would want to get at least one of those teams in early

Surprised not to see KOI KC or VIT in EMEA considering how big their fan bases are

STATS

mwzera https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/VK%20mwzera%234324/overview?playlist=competitive&season=all
cNed https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/ACE%20cNed%23carry/overview?season=all
TenZ https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/SEN%20TenZ%230505/overview?playlist=competitive&season=all

DEATHMATCH STATS
mwzera - 86% win rate (thats the insaniest thing ive seen in a while)
cNed - stats not availiable
TenZ - 73% win rate

RANKED STATS
mwzera - 66.3% winrate (MVP of 95% of the matches) proof here https://imgur.com/StiJmpg
cNed - 53.5% winrate (MVP of 13% of the matches)
TenZ - 60.4% winrate (MVP of 15% of the matches)

can you take your time to appreciate how insane mwzera is? without a doubt the most talented player to ever touch the game

I'll try to explain briefly why I think he is the best player in the world
Despite his insane aim and movement
The best way to know if a player is a good duelist is RAZE. There is a BIG difference between a good duelist and a jett abuser
If he is a good duelist, he needs to be good with raze.

heat? not good with raze
aspas? not good with raze
xand? not good with raze
tenz? not good with raze
cned? not good with raze
scream? not good with raze
d3ffo? not good with raze
derke? not good with raze

Thats why I think he is undoubtely the best player in the world. If RIOT by any means decides to nerf jett and shift the meta we prolly not gonna even hear names like cned and tenz again :>
He is not killing 40+ per map because when he joined VK he was forced to play a different role because heat is already a main jett... and lets be honest, every single duelist nowadays gets 20+ kills per map because team and setups are basically built around you (even steel managed to get 20 kills with it https://www.vlr.gg/29398/sentinels-vs-100-thieves-champions-tour-north-america-stage-3-challengers-playoffs-gf/?game=46692&tab=overview)

I think they should consider making the slow radius on an ult kill smaller, it makes it so that it's still stopping a push especially in a tighter chokepoint, but it doesn't completely stall a push in the larger chokes like B main on icebox

APAC, NA and EMEA have the same amount of slots and EMEA has a far larger population and NA has a far larger fanbase

posted about 3 years ago

NA vs EU was carried by other games, the most organic rivalry in val is LATAM vs BR bc they actually play each other often

posted about 3 years ago

they combined BR and LATAM, it gives the same amount of slots if they just separated them

posted about 3 years ago

not all the best NA casters did weekend 1, prolly gonna get them for week 2 tho

Tiktok is full of ppl reposting his clips

posted about 3 years ago

but it's free and you don't have to buy it, it's mostly used as an eco round gun anyway

Tate actually is pretty smart at advertising his whole platform, he says completely outrageous shit and tells the ppl who buy his whole Hustler's University shit to spread it out across social media. And then he sprinkles in just the right amount of decent takes to mask the absolute unhinged nature of what he says and then all his little 15 year old fans fall for it. He knows what he's selling and what the people who are willing to buy want to hear from him

name a more iconic duo- 100T and an insane clutch master

posted about 3 years ago

EDG got me hyped up on the CN hopium, but 2-1 NTH still

posted about 3 years ago

I'm giving 100T the edge here bc they have way more time to prep, but barely, prolly a 2-1 close game

posted about 3 years ago

I honestly thought that literally anything was an improvement over Russ but ig it's possible to be worse

posted about 3 years ago

congrats to FUT for being the best T2 team in EMEA, that reverse sweep was crazy

posted about 3 years ago

mwzera better than rb

posted about 3 years ago

but with this system it would take a long time, how is small indie company rito supposed to rent out a studio for all that time?

posted about 3 years ago

I don't have a problem with meta comps or off meta comps, but at least try something with it, they are honestly just taking a bunch of aim duels and hoping they win them

posted about 3 years ago

these are actually ranked comps

posted about 3 years ago

animation looks beautiful

posted about 3 years ago

What the fuck are the comps these teams are running, cypher+chamber for FUT and VIT are running a comp fresh out of the Blast Invitational Ignition Series

posted about 3 years ago

Scrims don't mean anything

posted about 3 years ago

so turkiye is kind of a middle ground between EU and ME?

posted about 3 years ago

they did two Blast Spike Nations tournaments, it was basically like a valorant world cup, and then the Blast Twitch Invitational in the EMEA Ignition Series

NA vs EMEA let's fucking go

posted about 3 years ago

If SEN have properly been bootcamping, then the problems they have (lack of structure, no real strats) should be solved or at least not be as bad anymore)

posted about 3 years ago

I unironically think SEN could make it at least to the top 4, I mean all they have to beat is The Guard, and then either SR or C9

posted about 3 years ago

I'm actually surprised that the roles line up pretty well

TenZ- chamber/entry
TENN- flex/entry (when TenZ is chamber)
TENZKI- viper/sentinel
TENSAI- support initiator
Ex6TenZ- primary controller/secondary initiator

faze and 100T are the only teams I think should even be considered to be favorites, everyone else is in a little clusterfuck

the roles in this game are grossly mislabelled, there should honestly be an attacking and defending role, with attacking have things like primary entry, secondary entry, support and lurk, and then defending having site anchor and float

posted about 3 years ago

no way prx won't bootcamp ahead of champs

posted about 3 years ago

is this based off of country of origin or region played in?

posted about 3 years ago

did riot just do a bad job of integrating Portuguese orgs into VRL Spain or is there something else

posted about 3 years ago

what fucking team isn't bootcamping ahead of possibly the biggest events of the year? There's no point in reporting if everyone is doing it

posted about 3 years ago

I heard that all the best Portuguese players are in VRL Spain
