No I said it’s not that deep because of how you started the discussion. It’s very obvious when you start like that what you’re actually trying to get out of it. I still stand by my argument coz you haven’t proven me wrong I just don’t want to continue it with you.
“You’re also forgetting that the game wasn’t even officially released in China until 2023” I literally mentioned it in my first post that you decided to jump into the conversation by insulting me lol.
Like I said, it’s not that deep and I don’t care enough about this thread to continue. Good luck with Toronto… oh wait…
Except they’re still not 3 years behind because they don’t have to learn everything that has happened in those 3 years. They only have to learn what is relevant to the current meta. And when it changes, all the other regions have to change too.
And sure, but it sure does help a lot if the region has a lot of money. Not a sole dependent but definitely a big factor. I mean that’s literally one of the biggest complaints with tier 2 in EMEA. That it’s not profitable for the orgs and supported enough by riot with funding.
Calm down, it’s not that deep.
What part of what I said isn’t true?
This thread is irrelevant anyway, ACL doesn’t mean anything for Toronto lol
They aren’t and never were behind by 3 years. The meta changes so much which makes it easier for them to “catch up” and also they’ve had a privilege status with extra tournaments. And the region as a whole is rich. So no that was never the case.
Also the Chinese team that won champs. Was still playing Valorant and attending international events before it officially released in China.
I have a feeling their icebox is pretty good already. Just replace Tejo with Sova. And should be golden tbh.
I want heretics to win Toronto (break the curse) and Fnatic to win Paris.
🤝 ?
Everyone agrees we need more tournaments but only PAC and China seem to be getting more
Mine would be to have something similar to the ACL, a tournament in between stage 1 and stage 2 for the EMEA and AMER teams that didn’t qualify to masters. Just for prize money. And then obviously bring LCQ back for champs.
Na Heretics won’t be in lower bracket
It would be too easy to clap back to you so I’ll just come back here when we win 😌
Anyone who actually watched the video knows that he didn’t say that.
However all the forced drama about Heretics will just make them winning a trophy even better, so thanks!
I mean he is in a bit of a shit situation being a streamer for SEN. He asked his chat if he should only watch the SEN games. But if he watches the whole thing at least that should raise more money (and he will match it) so big W.
Tarik said he’s going to watch it and do a charity stream. If Sliggy does something I’ll watch him and donate. Otherwise I’ll be watching Tarik and donate. At the end of the day it is more Valorant and if there are teams attending that I like (TH, FNC, TL) I’ll watch them. But at least I can feel a bit better about the situation by contributing to a good cause.
The problem would be the buyout for those players. It’s half way through the season. Same for ascension teams as well so if you’re trying to get players from orgs that believe they can win ascension I would imagine they wouldn’t want to let them go very easily.
You didn’t learn from the SEN beat down did u, TL will do it again :)
Lol, I think we can replace a few
TH > G2
TL > SEN
FNC > EG
BBL > 100T
The difference with EMEA than NA is how many nationalities there are. Its very easy for Americans to support 1 team and stick with that team and have rivalry with the others because they're all American. So there is that loyalty and rivalry.
The difference with EMEA is there are a lot of nationalities that aren't represented. You for instance have a Heretics flair. Why? unless you're fake flagging you have no ties to that team. They're spanish and have no Italian players. Which comes to my point, in EMEA I think people support the players waaay more than they support the teams. I have always been a Fnatic fan, I have that connection being British. Especially with Boaster being the face of that team for all of these years. I have also been a Liquid fan the entire time because they've had at least 1 British player every year, this year its Keiko. And I was never a Heretics fan until Benjyfishy. That's not to say I can't support a team that doesn't have a British player. I would still support Fnatic, and how much the rest of the Heretics and Liquid players have grown on me I would support them in the future too.
However there is still that loyalty and rivarly that you talk about with some of the EMEA fans. Specifically the Turkish, French and Spanish fans. They have that loyalty to the orgs and rivalry between them. But some can't have that loyalty because what do they have to connect them to an org? They don't, so the only thing they can connect to is the players or the coaches, who they see and their personalities shine through on stage. But players come and go, so ofc they're going to switch.
But that's just my opinion on why we want our strongest teams to go through. I honestly thought BBL were looking insane today and that they could be a top 3 team. But theres only 1 final spot and I'm supporting Liquid.
They still get relegated if they don’t make champs
You’ll probably be right tho with APAC and AMER. EMEA already have a disadvantage finishing so late. But if TH and TL make it they’ve proven their prep is really good so should still be competitive.
The only highest high in Americas is G2. The champions points show how much of a one team region it is. In EMEA 3 teams have 6 points (obv before playoffs but still), APAC there is 4 points between 1st and 3rd. China has 2 points between 1st and 3rd. AMER has 7 points difference between 1st and 2nd.
Saying the worst team is the same as EMEA 7th/8th is always useless because it’s a complete guessing game.
How can u hate watch FNC, has some of the most likeable and talented players
The only reason it wouldn’t be considered fair is if you favour KC. I do favour TL. But if KC had won split then this decision would’ve favoured them and I would’ve been okay with it.
They both suffered through the tech pauses, the better team came out on top and shouldn’t be punished for it.
