tuyz became such a systematic smokes player under saadhak, he played exactly the role that loud needed and nothing more. He was never really a bad player, but the reason 2023 and even early 2024 loud found success was because he could consistently play to the teams (saadhak's) needs
out of all of his off season games on tln, he had 2 where he actually popped off. All the others, he played anywhere from abysmal to pretty fine

ehhh, sova is very map reliant. On his good maps hes insane but on his bad maps people just pick fade instead of him. New map pool looks balanced:
Haven- Sova
Lotus- Fade
Bind- Fade
Split- Neither/fade
Abyss- Sova
Fracture- Mainly fade
Pearl- Mainly sova
fair enough, most gc players couldnt even stand straight against t3 players, but riot dumps copious amounts of cash into gc so it isnt technically worthless
Sentinels dont necessarily need to provide info. The point of a sentinel is to be able to stall and hold space, while having immense stopping power. Although sage doesnt have any traps like all the others, making her much harder to play as a solo weak site sentinel, her slows and wall are pieces of stopping power. Also, deadlock doesnt hold flanks, and vyse wall on attack is much better for post plant. Holding flank, while useful, isnt required on most maps, rather just a feature. Where sage falls as a sentinel is that she doesnt have any long range abilities, traps, and the fact that her heal isnt that great at high levels, making so that she plays very one dimensionally, as just a wall mule.

raze is the best overall with fracture, split, bind, lotus looking like must pick maps but yoru is very good as a main duelist on haven abyss pearl as main duelist for slower teams and on split and bind as a second duelist for double dive

Jqt narrate role swap is actually looking pretty good. However, if during the season they start to falter than narrate and zellsis should swap. zellsis obv played hella senti before joining sen, and is a very passive player that is comfortable playing slow lurks on attack and weak sites on defense, and narrate is an aggro entry player that is obv very good on flashes/fade. Not saying this needs to happen, but if the issue comes up i think it makes a lot of sense
c9 is a very potent org in esports, and has built a solid brand, alongside a history in val
