Im pretty sure its been balanced for more recent standings, which in this case C9 made it further in Champs than both SEN and NV

So they can't participate in the same tourney only applies in official Riot tournaments. Reason being if they ever face each other, one time might throw for the other. Valorampage is done by a third party so they could participate as well.

TSM Doesn't even have a full roster yet...

I mean it more depends on how much Acend pays him vs the competition offering.
If Acend doesn't pay him enough then yes he is looing to leave

This was an EMEA finals....but yes EU > NA right now

posted about 2 years ago

I feel like a huge difference is mindset, I feel like EMEA teams actually treat each opponent as a "threat" so they care more about the game.
Rather NA just think in a more complacent mindset (maybe don't practice as much before minor team games) expecting it to be an easy sweep

I thought upper seeding gets priority on if they want map pick first or not?

Honestly just be better to increase total number of slots but have a quick play-in stage (like what they do with league).

Lets minor regions come to worlds and also lets more major regions have seedings for play in

Do you think the winner of champions will get their own gun skin lines or will they introduce agent skins with the winning team?

posted about 2 years ago

I don't see how this is a problem, it reduces the price for 1 skin for everybody.

For people who don't normally buy skins, they will be happy to buy a skin (spending money that would normally not be spent)
For people who DO usually buy skins, congrats a future skin will be cheaper for you that rotates into your shop.

I'm no saying I don't have money (maybe I am cheap).
I was just suggesting this as a more rewarding feature to buying skins instead of getting upset over the nightmarket every time it comes out.

posted about 2 years ago

I was thinking that Riot could give every account (over level 10?) a one time voucher discount on a skin purchased in the shop (lets say 50% off).
Would help for people who get bad skins in the nightmarket, they can log in everyday and check the shop for the skin they want to receive their discount.

If im not wrong, wasnt the IEM cologne bracket for 24 teams not 16?

Don't get why this is so hard to understand for some people

posted about 2 years ago

I think you need to understand how this works, sometimes teams from other regions might just show up!
And if it were just NA and EU, matches like the one today won't be as hyped as they if they come so often.

But on a business perspective, they get viewership from these other regions as well which helps for revenue/sponsorships.

posted about 2 years ago

I hope they do it like League where 2 teams from same region can't meet in the first round (quarterfinals).
Would be kind of boring watching NA vs NA or EMEA vs EMEA.

I know it's going to be random but a potential playoff draw could be

1 - SEN
8 - ACE

4 - NV
5 - GMB

3 - VS
6 - G2

2 - 100T
7 - VK

The numbers aren't actual rankings, but this helps bring a lot of story line

posted about 2 years ago

My memory might be hazy, but I think its "random". For example lets say 1st seed of NA get into group A, if the 1st seed of EMEA gets picked (as the 2 major regions) they would get pushed into group B.

All just a working concept that would make it more fun for rng to provide death groups and freebie groups

posted about 2 years ago

I wish they did something similar to league, by picking teams live through a physical random draw for group stages (and making sure no teams from same region go into the same group obv)
