3 years of nothingness, but the second chobra stopped being an RRQ fan they win the fking trophy

outside of korean teams, best chance you have for a loud crowd is if prx was winning wcyd

posted 4 months ago

fortunately for them his performance here and vs PRX is enough to convince me that Jemkin is far from being an inconsistent shooter.
So if it ain't broke why fix it? ggwp RRQ and good luck in Toronto

because if ANGE1 is still here after all those years, a player like Nivera would 100% have a chance in Tier 1

posted 4 months ago

yeah sure but asking for a rematch after losing an official game is sort of middle school loser activity

posted 4 months ago

well in terms of importance qualifying to champions is still #1 priority so masters > ewc
but I don't think winning it is light work, so personally my global team power rankings for champs might change based on ewc matches

posted 4 months ago

so sad kyousuke going to falcons. If they suddenly become better than vitality someone on team spirit's staff got to be fired man

round 20 on pearl, stopping PRX's momentum and preventing match point

posted 4 months ago

Doesn't matter if they lose 2 maps 0-13 and and win 3 maps 22-20. A win is a win
The rule basically implies: A team that is so strong on 2 maps but can't close out any of the other 3 does not deserve to win a bo5 series.

xffero was legit hitting the dog 'cooked' emote while defusing 😭 devastating moment for prx train passengers

I do think geng will beat them and continue this one-sided rivalry they have, but RRQ's improvement has been very impressive and their pacific finals appearance is well deserved.
All that said though, I fear they are still underrated in the eyes of vct watchers (especially those who don't watch pacific). So even though they finish in the top 2, a lot of people still won't think of a strong team when they think of RRQ and they'll rank them pretty low in comparison to other teams in Toronto 🥀

I've heard coaches and igls all over the world say they would want to have f0rsakeN in their team the most over any other player. Don't listen to people with no ball knowledge

posted 4 months ago

I expect that the world's top teams would still want to win the EWC the same way they want to win any Kickoff, Stages, Masters, or Champions event

It's an organization that holds a bunch of S-Tier tournaments from all different esports over at Riyadh with classic saudi money prize pool.
Top 4 of each region are going to compete so the level of play is on par with a vct masters

posted 4 months ago

old vietnam goat n1zzy is back! Watched him in FCY before the regional leagues were a thing. I'm not confident about how good ZesBeeW is though

posted 4 months ago

well cloud9 didn't beat mibr or G2 the way boom beat DRX and GENG. Surely a team who goes 5-0 can't just lose all their powers all of a sudden

posted 4 months ago

objectively I think Meiy, NcSlasher, and Kushy can never have bad pictures, Crws is quite underrated,
and for some reason Xdll's vlr picture mogs everyone out of town

this was before yay, the nephh, crazyguy, and juicy trio won pacific ascension

istg this man shut off his monitor after 100T got 12 rounds it pisses me off
You're telling me our duelist had only 1 kill in the last 7 rounds!? The most crucial point of the game??!

In terms of them forming their own era, vitality made a super team that won the ESL Grand Slam (award for winning the most masters/pro leagues in a season)
Can't really explain the achievement as Tier 1 events in cs happen much more frequently than val, but the closest we have is probably Gen.G last year when they won 2 pacific league trophies and a masters.

posted 4 months ago

about damn time ZywOo gets them the grand slam. Ngl this new era of vitality, falcons, and spirit is the most exciting time of cs i've seen since prime navi, faze, and G2 3-4 years ago

posted 4 months ago

Hopefully now they can get the respect they deserve. Took them a while but, from being the team everyone clowned on at the start to now making a masters, watching this team evolve has been a treat

posted 4 months ago

the thing is you never know what environment kids are playing around in nowadays.
in this day and age, it can get to a point where people around him would let him say such indecent things with nobody reprimanding him.
heck, his friends might even try to defend such behaviour 🤔... I think a mentor would do him a big help

well game 1 bron and ar sold on luka's amazing night. You win some you lose some.
Shout out anthony edwards though he was a highlight machine tonight

It's not the quickest of glow ups, sure, but in those 3 years RRQ's results have been a steady upward trend. From dead last in lock//in, to making stage 2 playoffs last year, to now being a 1st seeded team who are legit contenders for a masters event.
Compared to teams like GE, DFM, KOI, GX, FUR, TS who have tried many changes which unfortunately didn't get much results, I can picture how OG RRQ fans who have been following since 2022-2023 are super grateful to see their team the way they are today.

posted 4 months ago

I'll give DRG a 20% chance of winning
Maybe vo0kashu + any other player can have their life games and win, but fate likely still has it for EDG to again win this Split 1 as they do with every other VCT China event

posted 4 months ago

idk I just read liquipedia which says after the round differential:

If ties reduced to less than 3 teams after this process, tiebreakers for respective number of teams must be used to break ties among them.

posted 4 months ago

You can think whatever you want
all I know is I've been watching him and he's consistenly been doing great things even on losses, which compels me to think he can contribute to -- and deserves to be -- on a winning team

posted 4 months ago

they always think it's T1 getting worse and never the other teams becoming better
It's always funny for me to read

posted 4 months ago

it first looks at map differential, but because RRQ and NS have the same in your case, it goes to round differential which gives RRQ the top spot
after that T1 and TLN is decided by their H2H because it's only a 2-way tie then

posted 4 months ago

yeah and Shao and SUYGETSU is still damn good imo
EMEA just love to move players around so they end up on mid teams unable to do much

posted 4 months ago

technically no, but eye-test says one of them sure as hell should be with how great they have been performing.
I have both of them not qualifying to Toronto at a <1% chance and both of them going to Toronto at a 5% chance

posted 4 months ago

It's time for NS Rb to complete the korean 6th man meta

posted 4 months ago

I can see XLG winning in an upset here and then EDG going undefeated in the lower brackets until they win the finals again

posted 4 months ago

with the same inhuman aim and being a major winner, it could've easily been Demon1 but sadly after EG disbanded he has never been the same 😔

posted 4 months ago

istg ts the craziest shit I've ever seen. People really dislike RRQ so much they start to discredit accomplishments and ignore notable improvements. Look! They no longer have inconsistent shooters like Lmemore and got rookie of the year Kushy. Then they fixed their igl-ing problem with crazyguy, and Ewok is with Warbirds for better anti-stratting. Now they are on a win streak and beat the defending champions cleanly (no experimenting with goofy comps or role switching excuses, etc.). But all that apparently isn't enough for some people.

nah dont start with me on this one🥀
At some point ts starts to get disrespectful. After every improvement they have made, and after today's performance against T1, all this hate/doubt towards RRQ is prejudiced and very undeserved. Give the damned team a chance

posted 5 months ago

hold on does that mean the best case scenario for fans might be if RRQ gets #2 seed instead of #1, because then RRQ matches up with an easier #3 Alpha (instead of the likely #2 Alpha if they get #1 seed)
After they win it, the upper semifinals becomes RRQ vs BME which one of them is guaranteed to go to Toronto.

posted 5 months ago

well to be fair BME also experimented with the dos9 iso which turned out to be horrifying (though NcSlasher on omen was surprisingly great). Difference is they went right back to normal comps after that map unlike DRX who stuck with free1ng yoru.

posted 5 months ago

honestly it's tuff all 5 of boom players are damn good.
I'd have to say the team's kill leader Famouz was LeBron and HYUNMIN is KD

posted 5 months ago

ragebait so obvious ts aint even funny or ironic anymore 😭 🥀

posted 5 months ago

eh it's more like boom had a divine miraculous fluke to get 12 rounds with how dos9 was looking
they were bound to lose when the hero plays of the other 4 players stopped coming
