Look at the number of views and popularity of the game compared to league. Dota ppl just cant accept league because they spent so much time learning the mechanics that they think anything different is worse, to justify their time spent learning some arbitary mechanics that dont translate to other games/skills

doubt it. Before the Viper buff patch going into tournament build, teams are already starting to pick up Viper. Not to mention EU has been running Viper regularly before any of the recent buff was even announced.

People are just slow to pick up agents and like the play the same old comfort pick, you need the dev to push them to the right direction (just like at AUG in CSGO)
