I don't get why champs is rated diff than masters. Champs is more prestigious from a layman perspective but masters can be more difficult to go farther in since all teams who are playing recently qualified meaning they are in great form. Champs teams can qualify via past successes and are not necessarily in best form unlike masters.
I feel like they are covering up for financial issues. yay was probably just paid too much and rather than laying of other staff, they just got rid of their most expensive player

Dude some many pros, casters, and reporters have said that riot will probably not give a fuck regarding the report. They have established Valorant as a new game for players to re-establish themselves, and they have literally promoted Marved and his brand multiple times on OpTic (a whole documentary). The only negative thing the report cause would directly implicate Marved as a matchfixer, but most of the community has arrived at that conclusion already

Which is the strongest on paper? I think it is c9, but 100T and NRQ don't seem far behind. All major-winning potential teams.
Marved has a super high buyout while Ardiis doesn't
I have ardiis hopium. If not, I think dicey/baby bay is the most probably choice since they are both friends with fns and som and fill the role well
s0m has been playing only controllers on stream with FNS. This is a good indication that he might be moving to that role for nrg. That means they will probably pick up a chamber/Jett player and keep s0m.

It is clear now that all teams need a sixth player. What role done you think would be best for that extra player? I think an extra igl that can act as almost a secondary coach makes the most sense
all the stuff we heard about franchising the last two days was total bs. I just have a feeling people have been baiting a lot more that is recognized
This might be ultra-copium, but I was under the impression that Riot made everyone sign strict NDA to not leak. Seeing as every single Optic member is essentially outright stating that they didn't make it, there is a chance this is just all baits because I don't see how Riot would allow this based on prior information.
idk about icebox, loud looks okay but we have not seen any dominant icebox teams yet

doubt since if they win upper final, they have two map bans anyway, so I doubt they are going to keep anything hidden assuming something exists like they did for haven
They have said they want to stay in na for franchising + they own nsg which is going to be very useful for riot in the challenger tourneys

The Guard
I think riot will value lcs relations a lot more that people will expect. As for the guard, they have so much influence in LA, and with that being announced for America hub, I don't see them not making the cut
Literally small local tourneys have less problems than them
I saw XSet lose and was annoyed by the turret bug but thought it was over for sure. Is this changing when did riot announce a replay?

I think it was more of a skill diff than a comp diff. OpTic got rolled three times running Neon on fracture, but now they look a lot better at it + other teams have found success as well. I think the neon role needs Victor to do at least decent and really good teamplay both of which OpTic has shown so far at champs. I think we may see a new comp, but if it follows the trend of Ascent and Fracture (two maps Optic lost a bunch recently) comps will stay the same but strats will be different

OpTic's Haven has historically been quite strong. It used to be one of their best maps. At Copenhagen, they were 2-1 on it beat XSET and Kru but lost pretty solidly to PRX. I have a feeling that the reason they have been banning it thus far at champs is that they wanted to keep it as an ace up their sleeves. Specifically for the Liquid game, when Liquid banned Fracture instead of Bind, I think OpTic felt confident they could keep Haven out of the map pool and still win (which is also why they keep letting Breeze through). I have a tough time believing that one loss would make OpTic super afraid of Haven, especially with so much time to prep from Copenhagen,
Icebox is a different story, and I can definitely see OpTic still being pretty bad at Icebox. However, XSET is not that much better. If their Haven is as strong as it used to be, they should be able to beat XSET and make a deep run, but I guess we will see tomorrow.
Optic? Playing pretty good but not godlike (yet) which is as everyone expected
