You can be confident in your aim, but that doesn't mean you can just make a bad play even if it ends up working out and not expect someone to point it out a d criticize it.

posted 1 day ago

What do you mean exit was disappointing in stage 1? He didn't even get to play.

posted 1 day ago

G2 picking up an actual tier 2 talent, they would never.

posted 2 days ago

Melser's kindergarten is just built different.

posted 2 days ago

I mean its not like that will change that Kaplan and Kyu were bad during kickoff and that Kaplan's roster decisions ended up being part of the reason Zekken didn't re-sign with Sen.

posted 2 days ago

I'm usually a 100T hater but seeing the group they're in makes me want them to win most of the games apart from against Loud and the one against Sen(for narrative reasons).

posted 2 days ago

No more Filu, him being an Americas talent, and the 1v5 ace are enough to give me hope.

champions events also give no champs points, does that mean its mickey?

Champs is the culmination of all the most consistent and best performing teams across VCT which is what makes it not a mickey mouse, EWC has none of that, they just reward money and whatever team gains momentum.

it was fit into the vct schedule, it's just tight but the schedule was planned around it

China started playing before the event was even finished and you want to tell me that it was fit into the VCT schedule

You see the trick is that you keep him for the first one or two games and then drop him before he plays a team like VIT(13-0 and 0-13 merchants). Also I think he's probably one of the better options for a player that costs 7.5 points.

I feel like seven is kind of a steal for 7.5 points even if he is on PCF

They weren't gifted slots they came through qualifiers therefore they are the top teams

The qualifiers were online which already makes it so there isn't as much stakes or pressure, there were a lot of teams either in the process of making changes or about to make changes(ex. Kru not taking the qualifiers seriously at all since they knew silentzz would be gone) and were most likely doing trials probably influencing who they were practicing with.

Most events run with their fair share of problems but events of global scale usually have a lot of resources put into their production + they sort out issues as the tournament progress which did happen here

An event with the resources that EWC have the amount of tech issues, security issues, and brainless blunders EWC had.

It's not uncommon for a couple teams to go into tournaments with subs/internal issues/sickness, there's a lot of variance from life's randomness. For example Fnatic won tokyo when PRX were without their best player something, Heretics shanghai without miniboo, Gflu just to mention a few.

Its not uncommon, but that takes away from a teams strength and overall lowers the level of competition and when you have multiple orgs that have issues then the competition suffers

Scheduling issues are also not uncommon in sports. Teams had uneven prep time going into London, heck LEV had like a couple days of prep going in and they won.

Except there shouldn't be scheduling issues in the first place when the VCT schedule is public knowledge and EWC could have planned qualifiers during the offseason or the break between Santiago and stage 1. And Lev got much better the more they played at London, they weren't that masters winning team at the start, in fact they started a little shaky and only time and playing made them better.

posted 2 days ago

But I didn't mention Taiwan in my post since there aren't any Taiwanese orgs and since China see's Taiwan as part of them even if Taiwan itself doesn't which it makes it complicated especially with Riot being owned by Tencent.

Top teams from each region competes

Missing Leviatan the most recent masters winners and has "top teams" like KC and RRQ

Decent crowd size and production

Production was an issue throughout the entire time of the tournament like when they put coaches at the wrong coach booth or the many tech pauses

Teams playing at full strength

Ahh yes its not like EDG was playing with a sub, GE having a bunch of internal issues, the teams from London hardly having any prep time, and some teams experimenting with new rosters, that's exactly what I'd call "full strength" not

posted 2 days ago

I didn't even say anything political, China is literally just the only region that doesn't have more than one nation participating.

posted 2 days ago

I mean its nice for him to finally win something but it doesn't change its a mickey mouse.

posted 2 days ago

Fair enough

posted 2 days ago

Not worst duelist(there are worse in China and EMEA) but they decided to build around the most mid duelist ever who was mid in tier 2 and tier 1.

posted 2 days ago

Zekken and Cryo actually carried that XSET team so hard.

posted 2 days ago

But they are quite know for getting grouped at champs.

posted 2 days ago

Nah you're thinking of cryo, he's the true goat

posted 2 days ago

I'm still an asuna hater because not only did he still go negative in the final, but also EWC is like the only tournament he's ever played well at.

posted 2 days ago

At least this one is kind of a mickey mouse, but you probably won't be happy when a team like Kru somehow manages to go on a run and win champs.

posted 2 days ago

By that definition apart from china regional competition are internationals and we all know that they don't count.

posted 2 days ago

M80 will probably win vs srb but I can really only see them beating the bottom two teams(probably EG and NV) in play-ins.

posted 2 days ago

They finally won something, but after this they better make champs and I better not see them lose to G2 or Sen.

posted 2 days ago

I'd say its more the way heartsteel interacts with tank items and tank champions that isn't fair.

posted 2 days ago

ADC is a role that rewards players who are extremely good mechanically

posted 2 days ago

Belt to ass is what Tyloo are doing to trace right now

posted 2 days ago

How did they go from a top 3 team in china in 2024 and part of 2025 to this?

posted 2 days ago

I feel like more people know faker and lol by association compared to cs.

posted 2 days ago

Bro played against FPX, like sure he looks good now but we have to watch him play against a team like edg or tyloo before saying shit like this.

posted 2 days ago

Yeah and both him and fpx still look like shit

posted 2 days ago

They aren't even good enough to make playoffs in china

posted 2 days ago

Splash isn't even from China though, he's from Indonesia

posted 2 days ago

Knowing 100T they will somehow find a way to lose against G2 or Sen

posted 3 days ago

They didn't lose 0-2 to RRQ what are you talking about? Also they had a sub during EWC so its not even like they were able to play to their normal level.

posted 3 days ago

China has won a trophy more recently though and actually has a team that can make top 3(something EMEA no longer has since FNC and TH decided they were actually shit)

posted 3 days ago

Just get rid of EMEA, its not like they'll win anyways even if all 4 of their teams make it to playoffs.

posted 3 days ago

BerLIN went -19 and got diffed by suifatbb so you really can't be speaking right now

posted 3 days ago

That's what you are

posted 3 days ago

Most of the players don't have aura apart from cryo, you always think they'll be good after they play well in 1 or 2 games and look great in those games just for them to still lose to a team like Sen and then get to playoffs and look mid and crumble right before they make internationals.

posted 3 days ago

Well not for 100T though, it was NS who got belt to ass.

posted 3 days ago

Mighty cNed hasn't been mighty for like 4 years.

posted 3 days ago

Well if he plays well during Americas stage 2 and makes champs and plays well there then I'll admit it, but even boo made himself look like not a paycheck stealer at the last ewc so I won't admit it yet.

posted 3 days ago

Its simple they are shit at the game

posted 3 days ago

Sadge, I hope he'll come back as a coach though

posted 3 days ago

If only 100T looked like this in Americas past the group stage.

posted 3 days ago

This is not what I'd say belt to ass looks like

posted 3 days ago

Its not cross, I'm pretty sure chobra confirmed it in a platchat episode.
