But seriously its crazy that he's so much better at every role he plays than every other player on his team and probably half of the Chinese VCT teams. But sadly DRG hasn't really put any meaningful talent or coaching around him to take advantage of his full talent. And its sad to see that DRG will probably be a middle of the pack Chinese team for the foreseeable future.

The inclusion of a heart monitor is a nice touch and I think it would be cool if riot had it for something like clutch rounds or ace rounds in official events over something like the stupid coinbase econ report.

Chemistry by itself can be a really hellish field to get into and are usually lower paying than most Stem fields and most jobs are very competitive and hard to get with little job experience. So I would suggest either doing something like becoming a pharmacist, petroleum engineer or biochemist all make good money and have quite a bit of job openings.

But if you want to be a Chemist, you don't necessarily have to go to the best colleges, but instead look for colleges that offer internships, hands on training or real world experience. Most top colleges will offer stuff like internships but some are much better than others, like some have connections with national labs and can get you an internship with them and while they don't offer the most money they look really good on job applications and can support you while your a student. Also you should see if you can schedule visits with different colleges to see which ones you like and which ones don't feel like a good fit.

I think there's a could be a couple reasons as for why, one could be swapping in players doing good and then swapping out players doing badly. Another reason maybe so that they can just Scrim without any worry about scheduling scrims or any scrims getting leaked or other scrim related things.

You're the one who brought up 2023 first. Cryo was solid on Brimstone during Stage 1 of 2024, but outside of that short stretch, he hasn’t shown consistent value on smokes. He barely played Brimstone before that, and hasn’t played it much since. Same goes for Astra — he’s only played her 8 times total in his entire pro career. That’s not nearly enough to judge long-term effectiveness. And you’re wrong about Cryo starting out as a controller main — he started as an initiator, mostly on Sova, and then played some Skye, Reyna, and Jett. He’s played smokes agents only 41 times total, compared to 67 games on Chamber which mostly come from a single meta. Cryo is not a controller player, and never has been.

Also, what’s the point of putting Cryo on this team just to force him onto smokes? If you’re not using him as a dedicated Jett or Chamber, you might as well pick up someone who actually plays smokes full-time. Jawgemo can already cover Jett/Sage, and Less or Boostio can play Chamber. If Cryo isn’t on his comfort roles, you’re just wasting a roster spot instead of building a functional team.

As for boostio he hasn’t played Astra since Champions 2023, and 100T hasn’t shown any interest in him playing astra. If you're building a team in 2025, recency matters. The fact he hasn’t returned to Astra despite there being many opportunities where it could work means he probably doesn't want to play it.

As for Jawgemo — I didn’t slander him at all. He’s a fantastic player with strong flexibility, but his best performances have always come on duelists, and putting him on smokes or something else just takes away from what he does best.

Yes, Viper is useful in the meta right now, but this isn’t 2023’s Viper-Skye meta anymore. The current trend is Omen + flex — whether that’s double duelist, double controller, double initiator or having a Senti. Omen is the consistent foundation, and right now, this team doesn’t have a single player who specializes in him.

Lastly, EG 2023 wouldn’t dominate the current scene the way you think. Teams have gotten much better at anti-stratting, and the level of competition and tactical prep has increased significantly. Just like teams figured out 100T on Bind, SEN’s Split, or FNC’s 2023 setups they would figure out 2023 EG.

Apparently you didn't watch 100T in VCT 2023 because Cryo was pretty much only playing Jett and Sage, with Omen being the only smokes agent he touched — and he went negative in nearly every game on it. He was never a true smokes player and hasn't shown consistent value outside of primary Duelist, Chamber, and Sage. Suggesting he can now suddenly flex into Brim, Astra, or Clove, when he's historically struggled on smokes, just isn’t realistic.

As for Jawgemo, yes he's flexible. But flexibility doesn't mean it's optimal. While he has played agents like Sage, Gekko, and Omen in the past, his best performances are clearly on high-impact, aggressive roles like Yoru, Raze and Neon. You're asking him to plug major role holes instead of empowering him to shine to his full capabilities.

Boostio did play Astra on EG occasionally, but he hasn’t touched her since Champions 2023. And while you’re claiming he can “flex Brimstone,” the reality is he’s only played it four times in official matches that's hardly enough to call him a reliable Controller flex. Flexing in rare situations isn’t the same as having a true primary who can anchor that role across an entire tournament or season.

And yes, it’s possible to succeed without a dedicated smokes player — PRX proves that — but that’s because f0rsaken, d4v41, and patmen are pretty much all flex players with massive agent pools and then something and jinggg can also swap roles based on the map. That kind of role fluidity only works when everyone on the roster is built for it and flexible enough to pull it off— and this roster simply doesn’t have that level of flexibility.

This roster might look great on paper from a name-value alone, but it lacks clear role structure and forces too many players off their proven comfort picks. It’s a recipe for role issues, awkward comps, and underperformance. Also, this isn't 2023 EG, and this isn't the 2023 meta where what EG was doing will work in today's meta.

Somehow he got his contract extended to the end of 2027 so I don't think we'll be seeing him gone any time soon

Flex1n is the second best player on DRG and is usually right behind vo0kashu in terms of kills, and then shooting is about the only thing spiritZ1 can do. Cangshu is a lost cause and probably will be benched for akeman so he doesn't count

DRG has the experience and shooters to win easily, I mean sometimes sometimes they lose against teams that are worse than them, but if they play like they do against EDG or like they do when they are on a run in the lower bracket then they should easily make it back

Sadly most of DRG's roster moves are terrible apart from replacing nizhaoTZH with Flez1n, keeping vo0kashu, and maybe picking up spiritZ1 if he gets better at stuff other than just aiming.

But dropping shion7 and maizi were bad decisions, they may not have been the best but they are certainly better than Cangshu and Nicc.
