i don’t think he’s overrated, but, and maybe this is just me having horrible memory, i swear he was insane on OXG. on Cubert he looks really good, but from what i remember he people spoke of him and skuba like they were the next Tenz
ah makes sense, and seeing he got replaced by Buzz kinda reasons it in my head too, buzz is insane. i loved watching Saya back in guard would be nice to see him in Tier one and in internationals again
I didn’t watch too much of any region except Americas last year, what happened to Saya? I just clocked that he is not on a Franchised team but rather a Challengers team. From what I remember he was pretty good especially with the OP

I just saw they lost to a Trust In Plug (no clue who they are, they might be insane, they might just be a normal challengers team). Did 100T just troll the game cause it's off season or are they really losing to these unknown teams

EMEA : I think TH are going to dominate the entirety of 2025 but will be upset in crucial moments, dunno why, I just can’t see them winning.
Americas: I think SEN will start off mediocre but near the end of the year be the best Americas team, with G2, Lev and NRG being consistently good the entire season.
Pacific: GENG and T1 both just top APAC, kinda how DRX and PRX used to be.
CN : No clue what China is like but EDG should maintain their top spot, they’re so good.

The GUARD* are easily the best T2 oat
I think they all have a place in T1, maybe not guaranteed spots like other ascension losers (for example, M80 has multiple players who will get into T1 even though they lost) but I think a lot of teams can definitely pickup the players and make good value, they’re cracked
I don’t think it’s easy, I’m not sure about China but Apeks are very strong, and 2G are pretty fire too, I think it’s close between them 3

How wide is the skill gap right now? Obviously some of the worse VCT teams probably lose to good Ascension teams but, what if we dropped GenG into Ascension (could be Americas, Emea, Apac, China, doesn’t matter). How badly would a team like GenG wipe challengers teams? Would they 13-0? Would they drop even a single map or have any struggles?

good pick , DRX look super strong, i love drx but i’ve kinda lost hope tbh 😭 i would be ecstatic if they win but i just have a gut feeling that if FNC and DRX played rn, FNC would edge it out
who would you put instead of FNC? i also think rn Geng are so shaken if they were to play G2 they’d lose because how much more confidence G2 has , but that’s very fair

SEN are considred underdogs against FPX, they’re definitely underdogs to win the event so this would probsbly also apply to them 😭
I get the feeling that a team we don’t expect will win champs, someone who barely scrapes by lowers and qualifies, and then manages to go on an insane run by cleaning up their gameplay. in my head of course teams like G2, TH and GenG are favorites, but I get the feeling huge upsets will happen in playoffs
why were people saying it’s ggs for TLN after map 1? does LEV have one of the best ascents in the world or am i missing something
