"we'll let you off this time, but if you tell anyone what you saw today we'll make sure you never have a good skin in your store again!" he said. i promised over and over again that i'd speak to no one about it, and forget everything that had happened, and they put their ults away. as they left the room together it all made sense to me. the two of them had used the cover of derkes bullying to spend more time together! i couldnt sleep that night, i was tossing and turning, the events of the afternoon racing through my mind. i knew that even though i had promised, there was no way i would be able to keep this secret to myself the next day at school.
