Well if the Thai Tier 2 scene’s viewership has dropped since being sold to SOOP, then it's definitely concerning (and im sorry to hear that), but I think it’s important to remember that this decision was likely made to keep the competitive scene alive in the first place. If the region doesn’t have enough resources or sponsorships to support itself, this might be one of the few ways to make sure it’s financially feasible to even have the thai or sea league running in the first place.
I totally understand that viewership is crucial to building a fanbase and scene, but if the choice is between no competitive scene or trying something like this to keep it afloat, I think it's worth prioritizing the latter. Maybe it's not perfect now, but it could help ensure the scene has a chance to grow and recover in the future. You know? But i get the frustration.
