i'd argue it's not that difficult at all, they already travel and play foreign teams in masters and champs and, ultimately, i don't see any reason to abide to rules set by a dictatorship, if they don't let them compete fairly it's lowkey on them.

sports, even electronic, should be fair for all and not pander to money or politics, i understand that it's especially hard for a company to act in such a virtuous manner, but (besides the fact they're not even trying) that shouldn't stop anyone from recognizing, acknowledging and discussing the problems

in order to get a north african (rest of africa has no pathway to vct) team into a masters or champs they'd have to:
-get into the mena vcl (currently has 0 african teams, they're all from the middle east)
-qualify for the mena playoffs
-finish in the top 2 there
-(if they lose gf) win the ascension playins
-win ascension
-qualify for said international
a chinese team would have to:
-qualify for said international

2. last year (continuing into this year) a quarter of teams competing in intercontinental events was guaranteed to be chinese, they are by far the most represented nation (second most represented in playoffs, if i'm not mistaken). i don't fw that, because their representation is artificial, they compete against no one else, i'm not talking about money, idc about that and will never understand people that value it, i want to see different cultures compete against each other, regardless of quality, and when a quarter of the teams are from china that goal hasn't been reached, sadly.

probably the worst pokemon game i've ever played:
the combat sucks, they made typhlosion a zesty water type, the graphics are dogshit i personally hated the game design, it tries and fails to be the botw of pokemon, no gyms, bad story, you have to craft your own balls, the map is pretty empty for a modern open world game.
