In like 95% of all cases nothing was true and I have the strong feeling this is the case here as well.

Leo has a contract for VCT 2025, won't be traded and he will play when his physical health is on track again. It's NO mental issues, it's physical.
You guys keep forgetting what Leo has done for Fnatic. He is their best rated player for a reason. Leo is the damn GOAT, as much as I like hiro... Leo is NOT replaceable.

Wo0t is the youngest player this Champions and he already posted about mental struggles - and one can tell that some really nasty posts made him feel bad.
I always wonder why some idiots think that professional e-sport players or even professional athletes have to perform like robots. Like look at yourselves... you guys are not perfect. Nobody is. Why should it be different with pro players? Especially very young ones.

For the Sentinel role there are not many better players than him available. Def. not. Also he plays a very good Astra, what makes him even more valuable.
You can't compare him with Duelists or Initiators or whatever, who tend to shine much more in games. For his specific role he is one of the best in Challengers - easily Top 3.
It always depends on what a VCT team needs, what the team managers want (very important) and what would work. KC f.e. also put tomaszy on Sentinel - a player who played as a Duelist for SAW and that was working semi-well. So it's not always the best to just search on VLR for the best rated players and then start to put them on any role you need after the signing. A Controller genius like Ruxic will never play Jett on the same level as he plays his Omen - and you can transfer that logic to any non-flex player.
Currently the best EMEA Challengers players to maybe get signed are probably those (my opinion):
I don't see that, tbh. Especially not with teams like Heretics, Vitality or KC who went with crazy offensive stuff. Absolute PRX style sometimes.

When it comes to overall rating, there is not even a question, tbh. Leo is even before aspas the best rated player for all VCT seasons combined. Leo is one of the Top 3 overall Valorant pros and he won 2 majors by the age of 19 (now he's 20). You can't even compare him with hiro.
hiro is doing great and has a great career ahead of him. But you can't yompare him to Leo... yet.
Alfajer showing again why people like FNS calling him one of the best players in the world. When he truly locks in, no one can stop him.
Also - I like how Fnatic playing like they have nothing to lose. I love that with hiro they have almost no true pressure to win Champs, since they are playing with a sub that's in the team for not more than weeks. And it would also be ridiculous to pressure them on winning Champs without Leo - basically their best player in 2024 and 2023 (beside of Alfa that year).
When we had to choose one, it can be only him - even though there are maybe mechanically better players like Alfajer, Wo0t, t3xture etc. - but he is the only one who won 3 majors. So when it comes to success, he is the only true GOAT.
The team is choking - no secret, but al0rante was carrying A LOT over the years. Also when FOKUS played with a better line-up (with Fizzy instead of bucher), they beat Heretics team with Wo0t, MiniBoo etc. last year. 76.4% of his 9122 played Deathmatches he was #1 / winning.
So yeah, im not trying to make him bigger than he is or say he is overall a better player than this one or that one, but his mechanics are insane and everyone in Europe who watches Challengers knows that. I'm 101% sure he would be great for a VCT team who builds a new roster or upgrades their roster. When there are good people around him, he can shine even more obviously and the FOKUS team at Polaris who just played a few matches together showed that. Lime, al0rante, Fizzy, Lewis and SEIDER were so insanely good for a freshly build T2 team. They even gave FUT a hard time and beat Heretics. And now imagine him at a better spot with more experienced dudes... he would be perfect as a Sentinel who hits like a robot. That is super important for a team.
Asuna is great, imo. He lacks consistency like many players (which is literally normal), but his skill is insane.
Was no surprise or was it? I mean if KC would have made it to Champs, perform well in EU etc. he would probably stay. But his contract ends this year and KC totally failed, even though N4RRATE showed he is a very good player.
I think he could help teams like C9 or so without any doubt.
xuss and al0rante need to play in VCT.
al0rante is EASILY one of the best riflers worldwide. There are clips of him destroying Fnatic in scrims (and I say that as a longtime Fnatic supporter). I don't say he is a "better" player, but his mechanics in terms of pure aiming are really insane. Dude is hitting the most insane shots with Vandal, Sheriff and Ghost.
Wo0t strong, but Sayf was an insane beast once again.

Sayf is crazy, yeah. Overall easly one of the best and beside of f0rsakeN prob. the best Flex player.
Nah, it's just the stress. He's hyping his mates up a lot. But imagine his mental stress with his grandfather who just died (he was super close to him), all the stress after last season that Liquid put on him and he even wanted to retire. He lifted the pressure for a whole team basically and won them so many matches.
On the football pitch you also shout sometimes. It's normal to be heated sometimes during games.
Sayf is a beast, but Fnatic just got the better allround team.
Derke is playing such a great season, too. He's so good this year.

Consistency is something that every player wants to achieve, he has a long career ahead of him. It just started - last season he played Challengers.
Insane match. As much as I love the Heretics boys, I'm happy for Vitality. They're working so hard to get better and Sayf and trexx deserve every second of this.
Now I really think about how cool it would be if Leo would rejoin with Sayf and trexx for 2025, but I don't want to miss him on FNC. Also... Sayf said he might retire after this season. So a lot of dreaming. :X

I'd say that's only possible if Boaster would retire within the next season, but I doubt that. I think the chance that Leo will come back is 50/50.

Leo is Fnatics 2nd caller and is basically named as their future IGL when everything goes normal.
We all don't know IF Leo comes back for sure. If his mental and physical health doesn't allow it, they will for sure keep hiro - makes no sense to search for another player then, that's why they gave him a contract for the rest of the season.
It's just that there is no real dilemma. If Leo comes back because he's fit again, hiro will join another team. If Leo will retire because of his health issues or make a long break, hiro will stay. It's super simple.

There is no discussion. Leo won't be replaced, Fnatic already made that very clear. Why should they replace their best player? Makes no sense. Just look at the seasonal stats - Leo was even better than hiro. Much crazier.

There is no discussion about hiro replacing Leo. You forget that Leo is FNCs best and most consistent player. Leo played +28 in the GF against Heretics and also diffed N4RRATE and marteen in their match against KC, where he played +27. Leo is the best and most consistent player in the world beside of aspas.
hiro will probably get a spot in another VCT team then and maybe coming back when someone else retires. I bet they will do some contract stuff when it's time.
