I hope Gambit wont choke this time. It was so clear that in opening match they were so scared of FPX they did tons of uncharacteristic mistakes. Especially when FPX start to comeback on Icebox.

one slot is too harsh and counter logical. I think 2 TR 2 CIS 4EU is perfect outcome of this Challengers playoffs

Good thing about analyst - he can work directly with coach and it can be done with translator. But its mean u have to pay 2 ppl salary tho

Gambit since 2012 League deathsquad. Sad that Riot games Russia failed to make league more popular in CIS. Not entirely their fault tho - our community is as stubborn as it gets

I think Turkish teams need to hire european analyst. That would help alot. I think after this reality check they have chance to improve alot for the next time.

I dont think u need to push site on Breeze cuz this way u got urself in post plant situations where entire defence team is alive and coming from every direction. In my book Breeze is all about using it's huge space and shit ton of offangles. And this is where Yoru shines both with ult and flash+teleport combo.
Imagine Phoenix using ult and pushing site - defenders either hide and setup trap for the follow up team or just kill phoenix from one angle he didnt check.
And then imagine Yoru using flash and teleport somewhere on site forcing defenders to find him thus making themselves vulnerable for Yoru's team follow up push

Kj is useless just like breach. Ult cant cover even half of site. As for duelists I think yoru have highest potential on this map out of all 5.

Skye instead of breach. His ult is so useless on breeze.
I think something like Viper/Skye/Jett/Yoru/Astra or Viper/Sova/Cypher/Astra/Jett or other combinations of those agents

In my region playing Valorant instead of CSGO considered crime against humanity. Valorant players treated like mentally ill kids. So I hope Gambit squad and other really good CIS players get recognition they deserve in Europe and other regions.
If u ever wondered why CIS valorant have zero viewers and only one slot due to lack of high rated players - yeah thats why.
Examples of strong CIS players beside Gambit

  • Hugeon(Forze) - one of the best Breach players in the world
  • Suygetsu(Forze) - 2nd best Cypher in CIS after nATs
  • B1SK - insane Jett/Raze player dropped 30 bombs against Gambit while playing in team without any organisation support
And this just on top of my mind

For Liquid to win this FPX have to hardchoke and Scream+Jammpi drop 30 bombs each on every map

Sheydos is absolute beast. While all was talking about turkish aim this guy wiped the floor with guys like aimDLL and Russ in Gambit vs BBL match. And he doing this consistently playing sage on every map except Bind. Super underrated player for sure.

Edit: Just look at guy's KDA - top 3 world in 600+ rounds past 30 days on a Sage!

Viper would be must on this map cuz no other smoker can cover that much space. Astra ultimate might be cool. Also Yoru kinda have a chance to shine finally.
As for the operator - I think we might have a chance to see double operator setups on this map.

yea ty its just in russia it called cybersport rather than esport. My bad

I think the main reason why Korea or EU more successful at cybersport than NA is not cuz players are better or worse. Its just in NA in my opinion cybersport mostly viewed like entertainment. Meanwhile its some super serious shit in Korea where u can become nation wide superstar if u are good at LoL or Starcraft. And in EU cybersport is also much more professional rather than show/entertainment. Thus leads to organisations in EU/Korea playing bigger role in it's team development, using professional coaches and analysts and expecting much more work from players.

Fpx Shao or Gambit Chr0nicle and both of them not baiters like hiko

I have a feeling that with time and especially on LANs, combination of two information agents (Cypher/Sova/Skye) would be mandatory pick on any map

If u want mollies u also can bring viper and got urself free smoke and Giant wall to slowdown pushes. Thats my point - if u need info/lurker u take Cypher and if u need anchor I think Viper is much stronger than KJ right now. Not to mention Viper's mollies is like alarm bot+swarm grenade combined in some sense and also much faster travel time.

Killjoy is good only with her ultimate ready and its just like one round per half if u not feeding her kills. Meanwhile her competition have much more useful stuff. Cypher gives his team insane amount of information with every single ability. And viper is just better both as anchor and post plant. Especially after recent buff. And viper's ult also not much worse than lockdown.
Of course its just my opinion and I want to hear other's thoughts

What do u mean by mechanically? Aim is not all there is to game mechanics in valorant. And even for the aim part - sure noone deny that turkish players have great aim but not by large margin. I mean yesterday Gambit outaimed BBL in most situations

posted about 3 years ago

I meant they are bad at cs because lack of interest in FPS genre in general.
As for the riot, well lol became huge in korea before they start their dominance. We can only wait and see if same fate awaits valorant.

Korea will dominate only and if valorant become huge in Korea. And judge by the fact that big korean organisations decide to have na rosters that wont happen in near future. Koreans are huge in any cybersport but they are seems not interested in FPS games.
