Recording the brainstorm for the actual pod being the pod is genius ngl
Take your L
Also just better mechanically.
But I 100% agree he brings good vibes. Was doing good work w/ TTR last VCL before he went overseas. Definitely should have been a franchise player in NA for c9, eg, et cetera.
I'm convinced you're just talking to yourself, but drop that link for the pod
Never tried Salvia, but the videos or mfers doing it while driving or gardening were hilarious in highschool.
When people describe 'ego death', I'd say DMT is almost like a forced ego death. If you fight it, it'll be really boring, if you let loose and don't fight the trip, I would say it's like you said, impossible to really describe, but lots of internal racing thoughts, 'realization' moments where you think you've came upon a really profound idea, then it slips away and you can't figure out what it was (had similar experiences to acid), and you're most consciously distracted by the closed eye visual fractals and what not. Think of DMT as being in the eye of a psychedelic storm. Hard to recall what happens in the middle, as you can't really process stimuli the same way you can while sober/fully conscious.
Either/or, it'd be my rec for people wanting to get into psychedelics without wanting to invest a whole afternoon or evening.
Felt like hours, actually listened more like 10ish minutes. Best to do with friends to compare the trip to a friend's account of how long it took.
Another time I did it on my bed while playing a jazz record, and it's kind of like waking up from a nap. No idea how long that dream you had lasted, but it was interesting.
From mindfreak, or PRX? Because both players are pretty slow, hence why they're controllers, but I agree that it would be a huge adjustment for mako.
Actually a huge reason PRX is as good as they imo. Jing, f0rsaken, and something all have higher peaks, but davaii brings a change of pace to their game, great in late rounds, and is fantastic at trading his aforementioned, typically overagressive teammates.
Not the best in his team, but super underrated and undervalued by a lot of fans. Also top frags out more than people give him credit for. I'd also say he's consistent, more than mindfreak and something imo
That's a bit of a myth imo, I'd say I broke through on the pen with a strong enough hit on the vape, but based on reviews I've seen, I would describe a breakthrough as the closed-eye fractal patterns, disorientation of time, maybe some ideas of thinking I spoke to a higher power, or at least witnessed something like that within my own sub-conscious.
The elves saying "were happy you found this technology" is funny, but pretty exaggerated I'd say.
DMT is the most powerful, intense psychedelic you could do, but obviously it crunches the same trip you'd have off some good acid into 1/72 the timeframe. Same rule of thumb as with other psychedelics, find a good environment and friends to do it with, you'll have a truly fun and unique experience.
Untrue. You have to take one massive haul off the carts for 5-8 seconds. Was more genuine an experience (like, real to what I heard described) than my experience smoking it.
W/ the cartridge i was tripping for about 10-15 minutes, which felt wayyy longer, and I had auditory hallucinations as well as some of the craziest visuals off any psych I've had. Your environment makes a huge difference though. I did it at my cottage, right on the dock, wouldn't trade it for any other experience I've had, especially with how quickly and conveniently it can be done.
12 hour acid trip? Did it a bunch, but Jesus, no way anyone with a somewhat productive lifestyle can put time aside for it, unless you work remote and can book time off. Same story for mushrooms.
Ehh, Netflix original. Too much storytelling. Not enough actual fighting.
Sheydos has been seriously slept on this split. Trexx however, has not performed well since joining Vitality. And that's with Sheydos on a worse team, just saying.
Ppl are saying Something should be on here instead of purp0, but if we're being realistic, he'll never leave PRX, mostly because he's always been in the Pacific scene b/c of where he lives in Russia. He doesn't have the discipline to play on an EMEA team, PRX fits his playstyle perfectly.
What I was actually going to comment, aside from replying to the 'no something???' comments, was that cloud IGL'd for GX beginning of last split. I think he'd be more willing to IGL than Nats, honestly.
Lmao, could be the best duelist too, sucks that we'll never know because he doesn't lock in anything but Cypher and KJ
d00mbros was the problem hahAA
I think his point is that you shouldn't hate on one of the few successful players to come out of the region you share, by residence, nationality, or heritage.
He became a flex player on furia, but he was originally a duelist on his teams prior.
I'd rather have Mazino as a initiator or smoke player over adverso/melser tbh
Could actually see SEN signing that 1st roster but they keep tenz instead of picking up Marved.
Could also see G2 signing two new players, keeping JoshRT+Valyn+Trent+Leaf (instead of JohnQT on senti), signing Ethan (I'd rather take Verno off OXG next year if they don't ascend) and zekken. They'd probably have to break the bank for zekken tho. Same goes for SEN signing Aspas.
Pretty sure he's trolling. Inspire could never farm ranked on anything but senti
Actually makes a huge difference when you play though. I wouldn't go as close as Shyy, but its a noticeable difference when playing for me.
As in they've hit their ceiling while the rest of the region improves?
DRX has made a bunch of changes this year, their new players are good, we'll see if MaKo can improve as IGL or they bring someone like Estrella into the mix.
I feel like today's duelists have to be really aggressive and take LOTS of space/duels compared to 2022/2023. At least I think that's what loud wants, as was the case with QcK, and now saadhak on the neon. Imo if you set your duelist up properly, it shouldn't be a big issue. Imo qck took wayyy too many dry peeks, so I hope whoever their next primary duelist is, they're very vocal and ask for what they need to thrive.
Should probably just put tuyz on the duelist imo, he seems used to T1 play now, and I think he's got that aspas aura is he works at it. If he doesn't want to play duelist then whatever ig, maybe just doesn't want to get the flack all underperformed duelists get
Skuba and v1c have better stats this year, but I would agree with you, Zander is more of a known element and has been consistent for a long time.
Plus OXG and MXS have clearly been better this year of NA VCL, so kinda hard to just drop the stats and say "End of Discussion"
I think if they had time with this roster, they maybe would have made champs. G2, SEN, C9, LEV, and 100T (until their first two series of split 2) have looked better than NRG throughout the year though.
flashback is nuts tho.
hindsight 20/20 but I think stax IGLing with MaKo getting cut so BeYN and Flashback sharing his roles, could have been a baller team. MaKo has to get a crash course in IGLing if they wanna get good tourney placements
Saadhak playing neon on every map is a fun idea, but he got brutally DIFFED.
imo we'll see tuyz on duelist either next match or a few games from now.
FR, both EG and G2 were widely considered the worst NA rosters in VCT before Split 1, but I think both teams have had to improve at a faster pace because of that. Could totally see this EG beat NRG and 100T atm.
aged like milk. I think he'll return to form towards the end of the split. Hopefully, anyhow.
Yo what if they drop Ethan and pick up the scouwser
I feel like bleed will improve over the season while global will stagnation. I agree w/ the 0-4 prediction
Kru was the best in the league last season til playoffs. Then 100T took the cake. Sen fell off, C9 will probably make changes(save oxy), same goes for lev. Every core BR team SUCKED last split. I think the emea 'skill floor' is a bit higher, if you know what I mean. But you're right, I am happy for g2/100T doing well, Americas has had a somewhat promising year.
Omg, for real? Didn't even know, that's so tough. Hope he pulls through.
Nothing is stopping non-russian organizations from signing Russian players or entire teams (I.e. c9 cs). You have to keep in mind, riot shares revenue with organizations, so they would indirectly be helping fund the invasion of Ukraine, as many Russian orgs are owned by people in the pockets of the country's government. Probably the same reason we won't see Team Falcons make it to franchising, unless by some miracle.
I think he understood, but is just making an argument behind why they shouldn't be removing orgs. I agree, riot shouldn't be giving money to oligarchs.
Ur not wrong. Hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong in saying this, but we got months in advance before pro play integrated new maps into the pool. Riot should spread their schedule out with an extra break between splits, but extend it to the fall. This split will fucking suck to watch w/ iso meta rn, we'll see a slight modification before Champs, and then that'll be a mediocre 2024 filled with two okay masters events and whatever Champs will turn into.
I think valorant is a much more interesting game, but this is the benefit to CS2's grassroots system. I don't think valorant players could handle the tournament cycles CS players have to deal with though.
At least sayonara has been insane on KPI after purp0 left. But yes, I totally agree. Hopefully riot changes things, but they seem pretty determined to limit T2 developing to prevent the scene scaling too fast and having a lot of even dodgier orgs than we have now. Weird philosophy while having EG in franchising though
Fr. Destined to be the most useless duelist until the end of time. I cringe 90% of the time when I have a Reyna on my team that's playing her like a sentinel and baiting everyone
Dep is Hella inconsistent. High highs, low lows. Meiy has been one of the best duelists in pacific in his first season, versus two years on the same team.
I'll admit I haven't played league, but it's always had an extremely toxic culture, similar to valorant at the worst of times. Theyre both free games, people can make a million accounts, thereby being able to elude punishment when being dickheads. I see the reasoning behind it, not that I agree, but if they do timed hardware bans, it would be significantly more effective at policing players than the current system.
Would also reduce the amount of people playing on a consistent basis though. I usually play late at night, and maaaaaan, this would be nice to have when someone gets on smurf just to troll
Victor actually played well on every duelist in the DRX series except when he played neon, an agent people used to dickride for playing pre-meta. His jett was super average, but I think that was kinda expected when players like him took the agent up while teams' star players went chamber only
Fr tho, Optic was just a team who played it on fracture/breeze/haven earliest. I think Rb's neon and potentially f0rsaken's were better att.
Now its miniboo who's goated on neon rn
You're definitively correct, BUT, in a league with FUT, NaVi, and fnatic, top 3 is a still a good finish.
Better than top 3 in Americas/Pacific imo
