Idk what I'm reading.

It's all the same teams from split to split 🤔🤔

posted 11 months ago

Didn't clip it, but it happened on Map 2 of their game against G2. Wasn't just one round, so if you watch the game over, you'll probably see it at least once.

LMFAO

posted 11 months ago

Damn, didn't realize they had THAT much money.

Teams he owned collectively won the biggest tournaments in like 4 different sports, how tf did they have no budget?

posted 11 months ago

Crazy how teams didn't jump at n4rrate and Rossy because they were in pretty mid VCL teams att.

I'm going to stick with my opinion that the NA trio on talon were bad signings though. If they don't go full Thai next year, then one of ban, gov, or frost have seduced their owner.

Definitely frost.

posted 11 months ago

Yk, I'm sitting here trying to think of who the best NA team was last year besides EG (in franchising).

I can't think of anyone. I guess maybe NRG?

But calling them top 2 in NA when they weren't even clear favorites to win ascension is kinda incorrect. M80 actually looked like a better team through most of the year imo.

Based anti-bait.

In terms of longevity, I think keznit deserves some recognition. I think if he was going to be a real candidate for the GOAT, we would've had to have seen him on LEV last year.

Considering MTA became igl right at the start of split 2 playoffs, KRU will probably perform well next year. I think heat is going to go to LOUD though.

Adaptability is something they've needed since Leaf was still duelist, which is why they wanted icy since he's super aggro and could help them change pace.

They definitely got hard anti-stratted by Puddy and Mini this game though. Any time G2 took space, fnatic players were just waiting for them.

posted 11 months ago

Ngl, they probably just actually watch valorant instead of posting on here

posted 11 months ago

No. 100T would come super close to play-offs, probably get the lead in a tight map 3, and then the entire team's anxiety levels would quintuple and they'd lose.

Like, I've heard of team psychologists, but I think 100t needs a dedicated team of psychiatrists. They have the weakest mental out of any team in VCT. Players I like on the team included.

posted 11 months ago

I mean, leaf had way more FDs and he was sentinel.

Just a terrible showing from them this event compared to their form from the end of split 2. Felt like they got read because their playstyle is super slow. Fnatic is good at making teams uncomfortable, and they literally just waited for G2 to walk up and take space.

Give icy another year in VCT, I'm actually pretty confident he'll be putting numbers on par with someone like jawgemo. He has great mechanics, and was a MUCH better duelist (in the role) than leaf prior to icy joining.

E: whether that next year in VCT is w/ g2 or not, I'm not sure. I'm guessing jawg will get bought out of EG for a ridiculous fee, maybe to 100T in place of asuna, and icy will go back to the org that didn't pay him while on their reserve roster.

Okay can someone link this guy's channel, just one time.

Or lotus...

posted 11 months ago

Damn. Riot lost out on some sales holaaaaay

posted 11 months ago

Damn, this game is just anime cs after all guys

Holy shit, you're not joking. From what I just read, it's only supposed to happen for a round?

posted 11 months ago

Did anyone else just see chronicle inspecting a fade-style butterfly knife?

Looked like the Champs colors were copied onto the knife.

E: damn, would have actually been a nice skin.

posted 11 months ago

Did u bother looking that up before calling someone else stupid?

They're born like 6 months apart, leaf is the older of the two.

Can't blame bro for thinking he's 'older' either, leaf looks like he's 30, not in a good way. Also been pro for like, 6 years already.

posted 11 months ago

Leaf has been their best player since the start of the year, zero doubt.

But icy has shown a lot of improvement since he first joined.

posted 11 months ago

Title.

It's just about how teams are looking through the tournament. Nothing else.

posted 11 months ago

G2 have gotten their game read so much. Fnatic literally just waits for them to double up, walking up and taking space.

Not much teamplay from them either, just heroics against 3 people at a time.

posted 11 months ago

Genius deduction.

posted 11 months ago

I'm not even a fnatic fan, just stating the obvious. I'm not saying he has good aim, lmao.

E: holy Jesus that was an ugly peek in the 1v1 😭

posted 11 months ago

Aren't they undefeated with this comp on haven?

posted 11 months ago

Honestly though, if you have Alfa and Derke taking first fights every round, chronicle and hiro playing well on the site holds, how tf are you gonna get kills when you ain't throwing smokes

posted 11 months ago

Derke's been a top duelist for so long, been playing great this year too. I think people are just glazing leo a little too much, he didn't really do anything internationally before fnatic. Just one, maybe two events with guild?

I think leo is an overall better player, but kinda weird not considering longevity for a list like this.

posted 11 months ago

Unless he goes back to competing, I think he fits really well in NA VCL for sure. Guy was never really a tactician in any way, so he's definitely there for hype more than analysis.

posted 11 months ago

God's work that America's education system can't do

posted 11 months ago

Facts. They'd kill it in their opener, get smacked in winner's match, then lose 2-1 to a team they should beat in the decider.

Wdym by schizo fraud w/ essential tremors?

Hard to believe your country is the origin of the English language.

Nats should prolly leave TL, not the other way around, no?

posted 11 months ago

Sad for G2 but proud for c0m. He's been stepping up this Champs.

You're almost as bad as dort, got dammmmmmmn

How to ruin the bait. Gj.

Imo both need a bit of time to get better at casting. Steel has some of the best analysis a caster has shown on stream. He also got that nervous energy that he needs to have a hold on, but otherwise, dude's great.

Not sure what happened with hypoc, but I always preferred pansy out of the two of them.

posted 11 months ago

Weak.

posted 11 months ago

I'm pretty sure it's been like this the past few champions, no?

Can't blame riot, better viewership with some diversity later in the bracket

posted 11 months ago

Allat.

posted 11 months ago

could you please link these 'leaks'?

I have no idea where you heard that, viewership is hardly even where the actual money is in streaming. Sure, ads make money, but subs are what feed people and make 'careers'.

imo, he should probs go for a reliable degree in something practical. Streaming ain't a career, it's a side-hustle, with some exceptions.

posted 11 months ago

Agreed. Shouldn't be out forever, but there's a lot of maps pretty similar already (I.e. sunset).

posted 11 months ago

So this is what people mean when they say 'crazy'

posted 11 months ago

Thanks!

posted 11 months ago

Ngl, I'm only down voting because you seem like the most generic SEN simp

posted 11 months ago

Buzz has honestly only looked better on duelist as time has gone on.

He got diffed by zekken though for real.

posted 11 months ago

I always knew y0y would be on here under some ridiculous moniker, boiling cockroach sounds great.

posted 11 months ago

This post just got bumped, it's from 4 months ago

posted 11 months ago

100% would have preferred RRQ over Talon, no doubt. Seemed like a better team throughout pacific vct this year.

Would have preferred seeing 100T over Kru, but I think kru has better mental. 100T probably would have got 2-0'd by fnc instead of winning a map at least

I guess, looking at the teams I'd have expected to make it versus reality, some had higher peaks, but weren't as consistent for sure. Probably could have said the same about SEN before they beat Gen G in groups here.

Either way, lots of great games in the groupstage, lots of upsets.

L jinx

posted 11 months ago

Definitely hasn't felt like every region brought their top 4 teams, watching the games. No such thing as Champs being mickey mouse imo, but last year's and Champs '22 felt more competitive

Probably just recency bias.

Ngl, most watchparties are boring af
