what makes you excited for Chet over MikesHD?

Prolly waiting for Chets deal to work out

I think Riot tried making the community happy by forcing a LAN event. Good intentions but its going to shit, regarding the covid issues. IDK if they did or not, but they should have communicated that they would not be playing on a local area network. People complaining about prac rooms are just bitching, prac rooms are issues at lots of LANS, teams just have to make the best with what they got. Tech issues is on Riot, no way around that, they have absolutely dropped the ball. Stage PCs being average on their performance side is kinda questionable, but as long as all the stage pcs are performing equally, you just gotta make the best with what they got. Riot def need to have PCs that are capable of at least 244 fps at Champions.

TLDR: LCQ has been a shit show due to some incompetence on Riots part as well as them trying to force a LAN to please the community, a risk worth taking but its going to shit.

I know right, they just confirmed to the public the real reason why mikesHD contract talk was in limbo for months. They just used the shit outta him

Sentinels have had their core since last summer. They did not create a superteam by gathering all the regions best players from numerous teams. You cant say a superteam like Sentinels is the same as what your proposing or what SMB did, its not even close. Chemistry is way more important than just putting all the regions best players on 1 team.

posted about 2 years ago

why would they go back home and play?

posted about 2 years ago

Do you honestly, whole heartedly believe Sen is the best team in the world as of today?

posted about 2 years ago

Masters was on LAN. They are not playing on LAN for NA LCQ, just an LAN environment

posted about 2 years ago

It wasnt handed to them on a silver platter, they killed 4 before the lag issue. You cant be replaying rounds once there have been kills. What they need to do is fix all the server issues before tmrw

posted about 2 years ago

The thing is all 3 lagged out, its a shitty situation but all 3 surviving players were in the same situation

posted about 2 years ago

yea this is bad

posted about 2 years ago

The guy has always been under rated. Performances like this aren't too uncommon for him

posted about 2 years ago

very valid, I was just fking with ya. I just figured that out aiming your opponents will only take you so far. They def need to work on their tactics

posted about 2 years ago

Your a bigger bot for picking them

posted about 2 years ago

They're gonna drop a bunch after lcq or champions if they qual. They couldnt do that now or they would have lost vct points.

posted about 2 years ago

I agree, its all about balance. Its good to have fun, but its also important to think about your future and most importantly to just stay true to who you are.

Depends what is considered popular in your high school. In mine it was drugs and binge drinking. Once high school was over we were all fucked and the so called "nerds" went to college (where the real fun is), started their careers, etc. Literally the best advice is to just be yourself. If your in a situation where your unhappy with yourself, we've all been there, than be honest with yourself and make the changes necessary to become who you want to be.

posted about 2 years ago

The format does suck but the idea that a team like sentinels has no incentive to play in vct tourneys after qualifying for champions just doesnt make sense to me. Just because you achieved your primary goal, doesn't mean there aren't goals that still need to be worked on and these goals now become the priority/incentive. Things like keeping up with the meta, establishing the "era" they were working on developing, continuing to play world-class teams (way better practice than playing against regional teams), brand development, experience, etc.

Anyone who denies the fact that csgo has a tier 1 scene with more mechanical depth is simply delusional. This is coming from someone who only started watching csgo shortly before val came out. However, I'm not sure if it has much to do with the actual gameplay of CSGO, but more to do with that CSGO was out well before val, and cs as a whole for 20+ years. If val was out first alot of the best players from CSGO would be playing VAL and CSGO would be inferior (on average) in the mechanical skill depth. Just my opinion.

LOL, someone had to say it

Riot couldn't even get 2 AU teams to NA, what makes you think they're capable of getting 8 NA teams to AU?

I swear some people have forgot that the female and male brain are very different. They each have their strentghs and weaknesses. The male brain has innate advantages when it comes to competitive sports and even esports. Like you mentioned, the increased reaction time, on average, is one of the innate advantages of the male brain.

Good luck man, all the handwork will pay off later. As a guy in his mid twenties, I severely regret not taking school seriously. Best of luck

But I'd agree, this would be one of the better option available

They've waited to long to get a coach and have drawn too much attention to it. Now the potential coach will have additional pressure on them. I honestly think Shaz has some control issues. Hes turned coaches down many times and it may be that they werent the right fit. IDK it just seems weird to me.

NV "coach" MikesHD was working with NV for the past 3 months and was supposedly in contract negotiations. In MikeHD tweet he says, not a quote, that after waiting for 3 months for a contract and there being a concerning lack of communication from the org regarding his contract, that he will no longer be working with NV and is looking for other coaching options. NV basically used him and than discarded him once they got what they needed from him, at least how it seems to me

What stat are you using to measure entries?

Well said, patience and hope are two very important virtues in life

This is actually the first I'm hearing this take and it actually makes too much sense to be posted on vlr

posted about 2 years ago

My guy thinks rules apply on the internet, let alone laws of physics LOL

posted about 2 years ago

Thats basically what I was saying, I was just saying its a huge risk either way due to it being so close to LCQ.

posted about 2 years ago

Yea its def a huge risk. There's obvi reasons behind this that arent public yet. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, that this wans't just an impulse change. At least Boi knows their system, roles, callouts, and everything. He's been their analyst/sub since July. And at least they still have a proven capable igl on their team in Nitr0. In reality, their firepower may have just been increased. Overall, its still extremely risky, which is why i said they'll either look like geniuses or dumbasses.

posted about 2 years ago

All I know is that WeDid is the most over rated Val player of all time

posted about 2 years ago

With all risks like this, they will either look like geniuses, or dumbasses. We will find out within the month. I personally think their chances at winning lcq havent changed. 100t, C9, or Xset, still have the same chances of winning LCQ as they had before this move was announced.

posted about 2 years ago

ya maybe after LCQ, they already said he's gonna be replaced by Boi. Boi has already been working with the team as an analyst/sub. 100T is already making a risky move by dropping Steel, at least the replacement has been working with the team the past few months, mitigating the risk slightly.

posted about 2 years ago

Bruh get oderus and drop who? Nitr0 will most likely pick up full time igl'ing. He was already the second igl

posted about 2 years ago

I can understand where this comment is coming from, this is a very questionable move. In several weeks, this will either look like the dumbest move ever, or a 200 IQ move. Boi has been listed as a sub for several months now and has been working with the team. So I'm hoping that there's behind the scenes info, that were unaware of, that determined that Boi was a better option.

Daps is on EGs csgo roster

posted about 2 years ago

I would say G2 has the best chance of winning, I think they are the best overall team. I think Liquid is going to have a hard time with such a new player, but it could be the complete opposite (honeymoon phase/Nivera picks up very quickly). I would say SMB has like a 10-20% chance, but they have to work on their attack sides immensely. Their default is non-existent, which makes them incredibly readable. This puts them in a situation where they all have to be hitting nutyty shots in order to win

posted about 2 years ago

Thats what happens when you put your fate in others hands

posted about 2 years ago

GG, I honestly think NV have a chance against Gambit

posted about 2 years ago

They do have overall more firepower for sure. But people who watch lot of NA Val know that unfortunately, this is the 100T we get from time to time. They can look great one day and the next they look like a completely different team

posted about 2 years ago

Right!!!! Like at the very least what she said was mean. But we have grown men, not lil kids, flipping the fuck out over it. LOL My MINDS FUCKING BLOWN!!!!

posted about 2 years ago

Exactly, it might not have been professional but its not even close to being as serious as people are blowing it up to be. Mofos are literally tryna cancel her over it. People need to learn that cancel culture is not cool, people make mistakes (this not even being a mistake, just some trash talk). If you wanna ruin someone's life over a mistake, that person needs to seek mental help. Its a scary world we live in, tbh

posted about 2 years ago

Whatever your pre-match rituals are, please do the opposite

posted about 2 years ago

Do you want instant gratification or delayed gratification? If you want instant root for Gambit, if you want delayed, root for NA.

posted about 2 years ago

Yea my brother was a Bron simp and still is. I wasnt huge fan of Bron when he left for Miami, but have mad respect for him coming back to Cleveland and getting them a chip. I dont follow the NBA too much but I have noticed that more and more Europeans are ballin tf out over the past years.

posted about 2 years ago

Yea esports hasn't been around long enough like irl sports, where you support your home/favorite team. And even than, alot of people will still follow their favorite players around. With sports and esports, I always watch for the love of the game. Obvi its better if the team you root for wins, but for example I watch American football (NFL) all year, and I dont stop watching in the playoffs if my team doesn't make it. Playoffs is when I start paying more attention whether my favorite team makes it or not

posted about 2 years ago

Yea i'm happy as long as we get a good finals. viewership helps build the hype but I barely every pay attention to it

I prolly worded it poorly or something
