apac casting would be insane to see in masters, imagine this talent on the big stage at once:
blacknblue + daks
kremer + legday
oce casters (lowkey underrated)
paperthin + achilios
tasteless + artosis
illustrado + asurai
not to discredit any other casters for their great work, but considering all of these casters are very notable in asia + made a big name for themselves in apac it would be amazing to get them all at once in a international (and its sad only paperthin + achilios are the only asian casters at an international and they havent even been invited anymore)

W + add kremer and legday to masters casting

not saying it means anything, im just genuinely wondering because i havent seen like any trophies in the val circuit

posted about a year ago

does any team have more or anywhere near as many physical trophies in valorant as drx?

for reference, drx have 6:
clan battle masters
epulze royal sea cup
first strike korea
masters 1 korea
stage 3 korea challengers 2021
stage 1 korea challengers 2022
+soon to be 7 if drx win this split too

the only team i can think of that might have anywhere near as many trophies are eu teams from ignition series or acend with 2(?)

no its because sen is player run/has little upper management and probably is in most of their games, atleast thats what imperialhal said about their apex team

honestly itd most likely be bleed, bleed is out here raising 50 million in investment rounds (just 10m less than 100t) + have an academy, are planning to organize tournaments, sign literally ANYONE in the sea cc ecosystem, have a strong roster, and spent 3 million on housing, transport, and stuff for the players

posted about a year ago

because every region has independent tournament operators, theyre free to choose format at will but its weird how japan still doesnt have a dedicated group stage

posted about a year ago

depends on the team
teams like stage 3/champs crazy raccoon are using a mix of english, korean, and japanese depending on whos playing

it depends on how willing each person is and their comfortability in the language: thats why youll see japanese and korean players in lft posts saying stuff such as “comfortable and willing to learn japanese/english/korean”

🇹🇭 APAC VALORANT challenger and Thai esports organization XERXIA have been acquired by One to One Contact, a telemarketing company based in Thailand for a whopping 3 million USD.

XERXIA entered the VALORANT ecosystem by signing the ex-X10 CRIT roster core in January, a quarterfinalist in the recent VALORANT Champions. Since their signing, they’ve put up strong results by taking 3 major Thai tournaments in addition to being runner ups only to Paper Rex in APAC Stage 1 Playoffs and qualifying for APAC Stage 2 Playoffs.

One to One Contact aims to make XERXIA a new player in contention for being one of the biggest esport organizations in the world.

Their parent organization, Samart Corporation, has a $1 billion USD valuation in addition to being public on the Thai Stock Exchange and has been around since the 1950s.

One to One Contact aims to massively up XERXIA’s operations in addition to VALORANT, aiming to give XERXIA a whopping no less than $200 million USD valuation up to $500 million USD by 2025.

Seeing the potential in the org, One to One has massive ambitions to hopefully accomplish in the coming years for XERXIA and OTO. The move will also help to aim with XERXIA’s goal of making the APAC League’s franchise, a goal that would’ve faced issues for the roster as a sole organization.

bc they havent adapted to the chamber meta, no one on ons is playing chamber (ts played one game in stage 1, k1ng hasnt been seen on chamber at all) and theyre practically using their stage 1 comps +yoru in a whole new meta

on breeze, their most played map, youre still seeing k1ng on cypher and not chamber and theyre starting to get owned on maps because of it
