At the time of writing this the two last rounds of valorant I just watched(Envy vs TSM) Seven just abused the odin. I've seen previous discussions about the odin and also a discussion about Brawk using it against sentinels. But hoenestly its just so sad to watch the game of "Who does the most damage with the odin"

I honesty don't agree with you. Yes S1mon does have bad stats at times, however I don't think this is the reason that they are trying new. Zmjjkk have been struggling to find value when playing yoru while Jieni7 Is a player that finds value playing(His previous role was duelist). You saw at pearl that Jieni7 got to play the duelist and Zmjjkk go to the chamber. S1mon is more of a support player and have always been that, he puts his team first not him, however he also have moments of greatness and I don't think that he is a bad player. Why EDG made the switch is to fit more into the meta as they struggle with yoru. However we don't know if this lineup of players will be as EDG just signed/promoted Jieni7 and they did not announce that S1mon were stepping down from the team.So they might just experiment while in stage 1.
