After SEN, EDG is easily the second weakest team to have won an international.
Doesn't make the wins any less real tbf

posted 2 months ago

This randomly popped up... why were these specific teams chosen?
And why does XLG and PRX get an automatic top 3 spot?

posted 2 months ago

The format is: dump money in a tournament and hope something happens

posted 2 months ago

TL easily
BBL lack the consistency that TL have. They struggle at internationals

posted 2 months ago

EWC just relies on dumping a fk ton of money on a tournament and hoping it does well (which it never does)

posted 2 months ago

G2
TH
XLG
FNC
SEN
MIBR
TL
GENG
RRQ
BLG
PRX

He's better than zekken ever was

posted 2 months ago

I always watch pacific. Pacific ain't winning this. But hey, if I'm wrong, I'm happy

posted 2 months ago

Today was GenG's chance to prove their consistency with their new roster.
They didn't.
As for RRQ and PRX, we already know how incosistent they tend to be.

Realistically, the odds are looking better for the other regions. They have more consistent teams and stronger highs unfortunately

posted 2 months ago

I have faith none of the teams will be able to keep up

posted 2 months ago

Pacific is looking horrible for Toronto
All 3 teams lack any form of consistency. Only team I expect to do something is GenG
With RRQ, one bad day for Jemkin, and it's over
For PRX, total incosistency

Eitherway, Paciifc unfortunately ain't winning this one

posted 2 months ago

Terrible draw.
Split up the korean teams

posted 2 months ago

This guy is absolutely insane. RRQ's saving grace
The type of player I always expect to win a 1v1 duel

posted 2 months ago

RRQ is like FUT but better.
FUT relies on xeus to pop off
RRQ relies on Jemkin to pop off
If they don't pop off, they loose
Only difference is that RRQ's other players are better than FUT's

posted 2 months ago

Are they allowed to swap players for a different map?

posted 2 months ago

femboylover is superior

posted 2 months ago

They probably decided not to practice it

posted 2 months ago

If RRQ beat GenG, Pacific is fucked.
RRQ has shown us that they aren't reliable and will choke. GenG so far has been consistently strong with these roster changes.
If they loose or struggle against RRQ, GenG stands no chance at internationals

posted 2 months ago

I'm surprised they even qualified. I'm expecting an instant elimination at internationals

posted 2 months ago

Neither PRX or RRQ should've qualified
I feel like BOOM would've been better contenders

posted 2 months ago

Based

posted 2 months ago

Both

posted 2 months ago

SEN got destroyed by TL... you think they'd beat GenG?

posted 2 months ago

Do we actually expect them to do anything at internationals?
RRQ feels like they'd instantly get eliminated.
I can see PRX go on a run but eventually choke.

posted 2 months ago

It clearly does not work. 0 trophies
Every single winner so far was born thanks to roster changes

posted 2 months ago

PRX was finally finding it's place at the bottom of Pacific.
Surely that would've sparked some roster changes for PRX in 2026
But nah, they'll give it yet another go and fall short as usual... bet they'll keep the same 4 players on the team and keep it going for another 4 years without an internationals trophy.

Such amazing players but... they gotta switch it up already

posted 2 months ago

I feel like it's quite obviously
TL
FNC
TH

Though any reason why you'd consider another team?
Imo, FUT is a one man show. Might get them some results with xeus popping off here but won't get them anywhere at internationals.
NAVI is clearly struggling and would also crumble.
For BBL, I don't have faith in them... but I realise that I may be underestimating them

v0t

posted 2 months ago

Press W into smokes and hope for the best. They're surely winning everything with this masterclass of a strat

posted 2 months ago

It's ok, PRX may have wasted a slot but at least we have GenG and RRQ who'd possibly give us a consistent performance in Toronto... HOPIUM

posted 2 months ago

Don't overestimate these teams. TH and G2 have a tendency to choke. I expect the same
As for XLG... Not sure where they stand compared to other teams

posted 2 months ago

Ash had a ok first game but after that has been performing very well. Clutches, util usage and winning duels.
Great addition

posted 2 months ago

I hate when to teams I really like go against each other... I want FNC v TL in grand finals

posted 2 months ago

Looking unlikely but very possible.
RRQ definitely has been playing well and think their odds are very good.
PRX... Been good recently but it'd be a shame for them to qualify cause... Inconsistent and waste of space

posted 2 months ago

DRX's track record against PRX is really poor

posted 2 months ago

Nah, fuck the Saudis

posted 2 months ago

Thank you Fnatic for limiting his attempts at bursting eardrums.

posted 2 months ago

xeus is indeed better... it's a shame he's stuck in FUT this year

posted 2 months ago

I love how it's ALWAYS the same thing.
FUT giving us another 1v5
xeus needing to get 3 kills for them to win a round.

posted 2 months ago

No hate against EDG
I just objectively think that out of these 5, they'd be the weakest

posted 2 months ago
  1. FNC 2023
  2. EG 2023
  3. LOUD 2022
  4. ACEND 2021
  5. EDG 2024

2023 was some crazy consistent and high level play. Best year imo

posted 2 months ago

These results goes to show how delulu people on vlr are

posted 2 months ago

Hating FNC is such a red flag
They're literally the most chill and kind bunch of people

posted 2 months ago

Gambit

posted 2 months ago

Yes they are. Just look at this sub

posted 2 months ago

I think you're just targeting specific teams. Just looking at the recent history of winners... SEN win Madrid (against GenG in finals) but then don't even qualify to Tokyo.
GenG ends up winning Shanghai.

Or EDG for example. Champions winners but now don't even qualify like T1
This isn't just a thing with "Korean Teams". Look at the history of winners and you'll see that this fall off happens quite often to just about any team.

posted 2 months ago

GenG and Fnatic easily
I mean cmon... they're always kind and seem to have an absolute blast no matter what.
And then you've got Boaster and t3xture being absolutely adorable. How can you not like them

posted 2 months ago

Paint and Flor 100% worth it
The others not so sure cuz I don't watch em enough

posted 2 months ago

I remember players like t3xture, Buzz, Boaster, Derke etc. would often stream on Twitch.
Have they stopped due to practicing for VCT or have they simply switched platform?
