its still a sub. smoggy played good in the series. that doesnt mean that it was a beneficial change for the team. im not an EDG fan but no matter the performance of the sub i consider the team weaker when they do have a sub. there is chemistry and factors other than KD to consider. maybe life shoulders something that really helps EDG succeed and it doesn't necessarily show up in the stats?

Currently I know that NYFU, NYXL, Akrew, and luminosity have backed out of valorant because of franchising. I'm conflicted whether i like franchising right now. I know that in a year or maybe longer valorant esports may be better off because of franchising. but right now it just seems to be killing the T2 scene and even bottom tier T1 teams.

TGRD has shown that they can compete at a high level earlier this year, took a bit of a fall, could very well bounce back

Faze placed top 3 in NA VCT (maybe they just needed more time to get to the top)

Shopify is a bit of an underdog story but they have beaten some good teams this year.

Im a SEN fan. i like the team. all of them. i was sad when zombs got benched. but i thought a change would help the team. a lot of people got into val esports because of the sen roster. so be thankful for them. they were the most watched team this last VCT in NA. they are a team of streamers but it didnt start like that. show some respect. they were the first dominant val team. its hard to stay ontop forever.

Just hit ascendant 2. it plays the same as diamond from last act. they just artificially increased peoples ranks. so gold is more like silver now. plat is more like gold. etc. a lot of people with decent aim. they generally know how to play. you still get some people who throw rounds occasionally. honeslty not a lot of difference between plat 3 and ascendant 2 imo.
