Step 1: Dominate group stage. Get their fans and analysts hyped because they bring out cool set plays and executes. The teams in groups aren't good enough to exploit their mid-late rounding.

Step 2: Play a decent team close. Their issues are getting somewhat exploited, but the teams aren't good enough yet to fully break open that hole. Fans continue to get overly hyped.

Step 3: Play a good team and lose. Their issues are being seen clearly and played around by better teams. Teams begin to anti-strat them. This game still may be close because DRX is riding their momentum from previous matches. Fans still overly hopeful.

Step 4: Choke. The players are still hung up on their last game and aren't mentally there. EX. Rb said he didn't want to awp against Zeta in M1 because he was feeling bad from OpTic game. The entire team underperformed individually against FPX in the lowers of M2. Issues are apparent to the casual viewer and they are being fully anti-stratted. Fans think that they will fix these issues in the next event but... (see step 5)

Step 5: Repeat

yeah thatd be really cool

the way they get 5-6th doesn't represent the actual placing.

if SEN had a region as easy as korea, they wouldn't miss an event.

posted about a year ago

what excuse does your team have for choking in every single important match they play internationally?

oh wait, there is none.

posted about a year ago

they've had so many chances to do something at the international stage but never can

they do really well in their opening matches but falter when they need to perform. (especially certain players)

over, and over, and over again.

9 months later and it still is the same.

japan has a similar playerbase to brazil.

but compare the regions.

all takes are subjective but since i'm a SEN fan, my takes are better.

posted about a year ago

it's spreading the talent. look at NA. there isn't a SUPER team like there is in BR and KR. coincidentally, BR and KR are the two worst regions.

posted about a year ago

his take was pretty smart actually. DRX has the best talent in Korea all condensed into one team. if they spread that talent, it'll make most of the teams around them better

hate the game, not the player

even FNS said many times that shaz’s calls were good LMAO

posted about a year ago

they have no fix. they should disband for the sake of korea like balla said

if SEN played in korea, they'd also qualify for every event. That argument is so flawed.
