No really necessary. Chet was saying that a team having bad comms is a sign of the Coach not doing his job good enough. But at the same time I can't blame kaplan fully since two of his players don't speak the language.

After the LCQ loss one of the guys said that their comms got really messy in some rounds! Do you guys think it's because of the language barrier?
And if so, Is it worth going into another season hoping that the comms issues will be fixed somehow?
Cz good comms are probably one of the most important factors in becoming a great team!

I understand what you are saying but Boaster would be the last person to blast TenZ like that. Cz everytime tenz played Fnatic, he did well including Lock-in. Also, coaches know and see a lot more than what we do from the outside so you can't really say it's preferential treatment without knowing what the coaches identify as the problem. If you want them to be cutthroat like the examples you mentioned then none of them would stay on that roster cz SEN didn't make it to masters or champs.

https://twitter.com/OfficialBoaster/status/1699746493928808670?s=20 Every single team(EG, FNC, PRX) that scrimmed against them have said the same thing. He is cooking in scrims and we all know he can translate that in matches as well. He just needs a bit of confidence. Even with all the issues, he has been their second best player this season. There are more reasons other than his popularity to put trust in him. He just needs to quit fking around with his sens and all that other bullshit

It's still early days and Flynn just crowdsources info from the community. He doesn't have good sources outside of Brazil.

They will stay together cz that's their best option. All the VCT teams are going budget so I don't see them getting higher salaries elsewhere. Also, if they stick together they will get better offers.

100T ain't broke they just don't wanna spend money on big names. eeiu and zander are both FA and they would take the least amount of salary to play for 100T cz they would make bank in clout.

posted about 2 years ago

that ain't happening

You don't wanna know

  • 100T: Cryo, Asuna, Zander, Stellar, eeiu
  • SEN: Sacy, TenZ, zekken, johnQT, pANcada
  • NRG: yay, saadhak, victor, crashies, marved
  • TGRD: roster remains intact
  • C9: jakee, oxy, not sure about the rest.
  • EG: remains the same

FNS is evil if he holds s0m back. Look at what happened to yay and marved when they left t1 scene. There's always someone who is ready to fill the void and take the attention away( like how demon1 did with yay's void). No one will remember s0m if he doesn't compete for a whole season where's FNS would easily get a coaching gig at a top team.

I heard 100T is going full budget. Also, zander is Asuna's boyfriend so...

I think pANcada will end up going to a BR team. The language barrier nerfed him a lot.

posted about 2 years ago

There's none. All the good content creators are also pro players. tarik outside of his watch parties is mid AF

marved is going to NRG

Just take the deal when SEN comes calling for you. FNS might be expecting you to return him the favor for what he did to you this year but trust me your Daddy FNS will be proud when you achieve something great. You are at the peak of your powers, don't throw your career away son.

kaplan said too that they don't play on stage the same way they play in scrims. They either need to figure out what's causing these issues or get a full NA roster to build better chem.

They need an assistant coach that would work with the players on a personal level. We know that Individually these players are insane but what hindered them in becoming a great team?
I feel like all of them could benefit from focused coaching and care.

  • TenZ: Could get help with how to focus better. Don't change sens and gears every game( stick to low sens) so that he can be more consistent and be comfortable with his aim. Worrying about aim mid game is the last thing someone should do.
  • zekken: Still so young and is about to become the primary duelist of a popular team. could get help with how to handle pressure. We saw him break down after the LCQ loss.
  • pANcada: Could learn how to comm more efficiently and not panic. I have watched way too many comms videos where he just panics and mumbles his words. It's understandable cz English isn't his first language. But there are other multi-national teams as well. He could benefit a lot from learning how to be concise with his comms. You don't always need to be grammatically correct.
  • Sacy: underperformed massively imo. Mostly bc he doesn't always keep up with the pace of the game. I feel like he needs to be more commanding and have more confidence. At Loud he was the big brother but at SEN he acts like just another player. It's a new environment so it's understandable.

I don't know how much drew contributes in these aspects but getting another coach who would help these players out on a personal level would transform this team massively imo. Just look at Potter, she is one of the best at understanding her players on an individual level. You can see this in all kind of sports. A coach might be a genius tactician but if they can't deal with the players on an individual level then that team is destined for failure.

yeah just put words in my mouth to make your point. How many BR orgs are employing NA players?

posted about 2 years ago

Sacy baits a lot, imma be honest. All initiators baits a little but when I watch sacy it feels like he just plays to keep his job. idk

posted about 2 years ago

He is not. Trent is better currently but that's not the point anyway. A whole English speaking roster would better chemistry wise.

posted about 2 years ago

If TGRD can't find a solution then what's stopping them from getting trent and valyn?

I love pANcada and I am sorry but NA orgs have an ethnic responsibility to look out for NA players. There are so many NA talents that have nothing to look forward to. There are 3 BR orgs, 2 of their former world champions will be just fine.

Clearly it’s not just about that. He is still an insane aimers but for someone who plays on a weird grip, comfortability matters. He used to hate flat shapes like the starlight-12 until they came out with the bag. I just think it’s funny for someone who makes up so many excuses for his performance but all of a sudden the mouse (the most important peripherals) isn’t a problem anymore.

posted about 2 years ago

I did what you asked me to do. Can I get a free s2-c now?

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah that too

posted about 2 years ago

It’s bad karma

posted about 2 years ago

SEN as a whole fell off really hard, that goes without saying. But tenz has a very weird claw+palm grip but he forced himself to change his grip style bc of the starlight-12 flat shape. That definitely did affect his aim imo. He still can aim like a god but it’s lot more inconsistent imo.

posted about 2 years ago

It is that deep bro. You can cheat on your girlfriend but you can't cheat on your favorite mouse.

posted about 2 years ago

Confession on why I don't like TenZ anymore-

TenZ was on his best phase when he was using the zowie S2 mouse. Even the xm1 which has a similar shape worked great for him( Iceland masters). Then he got a good deal from the Finalmouse and started shilling for a flat shaped mouse like the starlight-12. Even in Berlin when he switched to the S2 for a match( against F4Q), he played his best game ever on stage imo. You might think peripherals don’t matter but trust me familiarity is important when you grip the mouse in a weird way like TenZ. And as an avid zowie mice enjoyer I asked myself can I support a man who would trade long term success for some ez money? The answer was 'NO'. Shame on TenZ

posted about 2 years ago

You don't have good taste and it shows!

posted about 2 years ago

It's not in SEN's hand. RIOT is probably handling it since they have leverage on the government and can help process everything much quicker. Idk how long it takes for LoL imports to move to NA, it will probably take about the same time.

posted about 2 years ago

Depends on what you mean by on time. Will the move before February LAN? Most likely but is that enough? With them needing to get used to U.S. culture and language, comming in ENG, praccing with new teammates and build chemistry, they might have to get there by November to be on top of things.

posted about 2 years ago

They have been talking about this JP trip for awhile now, I don't understand why they aren’t in vacation rn! Two adult people with agents helping them yet they make the absolute dumbest decisions. Missed practice and moved to a place with shitty internet and complained whole year about it. Tired of this guy.

posted about 2 years ago

Getting a visa is easy but getting it on time isn't.

posted about 2 years ago

I asked sacy when he is gonna move to LA and he said he is waiting for his visa. AFAIK C9 & 100T have started prac already! People who are familiar with the issue, how long might it take for them to get visas? Also, isn't tenz going on vacation in November! Once again prac related setbacks for SEN?

SENTINELS

Dude needs presidential intervention ong.

posted about 2 years ago

It's not even that he is just addicted and it gives him a mental rush. Also, brands are spoiling him with free stuff.

posted about 2 years ago

What did I tell you guys? First game of the day and he is already on a different setup ahahaha

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think it’s as chronic as TenZ's.

posted about 2 years ago

2 days is a long time by TenZ's standard tbf. He would ether change mosepad or sens every other game.

posted about 2 years ago

I am not too big on muscle memory, hand eye coordination is way more important. But there’s definitely a familiarity factor. If you play on a sens for few days at least and you get a good feel for it and on matchday you feel comfortable rather than worrying about your sens every time you die cz of a misplay. That's the worst part, you lose focus. It’s incredible how tenz can instantly switch and still put up insane performances but I think he could be even better and more consistent.

posted about 2 years ago

He is always 'trying things' out, that's the worst part. Changing things once in awhile is normal but this guy changes his shit mid game! That's just addiction at that point.

posted about 2 years ago

You know I am telling the truth. He would be an even better aimer if he didn't do these stupid theatrics all the time.

posted about 2 years ago

Watched tenz's latest stream. Bro was owning so hard but watch him change his mousepad, sens and everything the next day! Like bro you have been messing with your shit for 2 years, all it has done is that it made you inconsistent. He already has such good mouse control and speed, should just stick to one setting and train to improve other aspects of his aim no?
