dropping Dapr would be the org's worst decision ever possible
oh no i agree. this "gap" that some people thinks exists just dosnt. they are close, its all very comparable
holy shit. an actual conversation.
internationals is a whole different conversation, im more talking regions in the long run.
NA is hyper competitive rn, personally I dont see the same in EU, its pretty stagnant to me but to each their own. If you WERE to combine the current LCQ's i think more NA teams than not would fall between Liquid and the top. comparing #1's in the regions ofc comes down at the internationals, but personally I think internationals in the scene's current state dont really matter for longer than 2 months and arnt worth more than opinion pieces. esp cuz eventually our CCP overlords will eventually take over the scene in rankings and finance; and teams/spectators will look back at these games in 5 years and wonder how players this shit won an international
this is what i mostly wanted to get at with this post
nothing else to do. sitting here in a office chair getting paid 16$ a hour to supervise a triathlon practice team swim, and watch this boring ass NAVI vs G2 game. might as well spread some truth
same places as masters 1 and 2 EU first seeds. LCQ and Qualified. wym 💀
ACEND also won this tournament and they fell of harder then Sentinels 💀 didnt they just drop out a few days ago?
How can anyone seriously entertain the idea that T1 NA is gapped by T1 EU lmao. Liquid wouldn’t even be top half in NA LCQ let’s be real. At the very least how do people think EU is a more competitive region than NA. NA’s rankings are always in contest, it’s A tier really big compared to every region. There seems to always be about 5 or 6 A tier NA teams at any given moment since Champs last year basically. Definitely can’t say the same for EU, who have basically only a competitive B tier fighting for rankings, and a A tier filled with about 3 teams max at any given moment
its 9 am, what else should he be doing. now we know hes fs warm for game 1 lmao
How we feeling on pearl comps?
I think double controllers is a given on this map and so far V1 and C9 both agree it seems. Both teams are running Chamber as well; Deag is good long but personally idk if it offers enough to lock Chamber despite him being so OP. You end up giving up either Sage or Kay/0 locking Chamber and idk if that's worth end of the day.
I think Pearl comp is Viper, Sage, Fade, Kay/0, Omen/Astra but what we thinking
Well I’m pretty sure this is what the system is supposed to be; it’s not my own thought creation. I forget where I heard it from but supposedly this is what Franchising is supposed to look like
I’m pretty sure the whole franchising plan is that large regions ie. the America’s have one ‘S tier’ league shared between NA, BR, LAM that the best players play in and qualify for Global comps in, and then the ‘A tier’ teams play NA only, or BR only, and the teams fluidly move up and down leagues depending on performance
Covid has fallen off and people are just out working again and in school. Matches happen basically mid day which is a bit of a awkward time viewership. EMEA is also down apparently and probably for the same reason.
streaming overall is down it seems whether its Netflix or xQc.
also Shroud stopped his watch parties and he always dragged in about 200k per game in the finals and semi finals. whether they have gone elsewhere or have tuned out is a different question which idk the answer to
