True though. Last time it was Jingggg's retirement but this could actually be the end of the long standing core

True though. Last time it was Jingggg's retirement but this could actually be the end of the long standing core
Change your doctors and get it inspected. Don't compromise on health when you don't know the root issue bro
Liquid with 11-1 / 7-12 (although they lost)
GenG and Wolves with so many 3-9 / 4-8
Now G2 with 4-8 -> 11-11
And I'm sure I've missed more
I read somewhere the 2 teams that Heretics loses to makes finals (idk this probably happened sometime back)
And honestly I'd be down for it.
Wolves winning would be T1 all over, least expected team ends up winning it all
SIUFATBB WIN IT ALL
Fr and they send Team Liquid back in and they end up winning the whole event fr
EMEA as a region might be bland but I'm ngl Liquid coaching staff cooks so hard their games go hard.
Kinda same for BBL
At this point seed 1 is a disadvantage so either Jemking and RRQ prove us wrong or Its WOLVESWIN
YOU's impact was very huge, the way he set Rarga up was similar to Sacy / Lakia.
Not being heavy fraggers but being the essential core needed to set your crazy duelist to go farm the server
Because they had like 2 days of pracc?
nAts visa situation
New meta with every other team having more time to prepare than Liquid since they qualified on like 18th.
Stand In situation.
All in all, they did insanely well
Exactly.
High-key even better imo.
Just missing out will make them grind more.
And this is liquid with like what 1-2 days of pracc.
11-1 comeback shows insane resilience.
paTiTek is getting a lot of hate, he basically did win 3/4 duels and panicked in the last it's aight.
Insane Showing from liquid, will be waiting for them in champs and EWC
Exactly this.
For the situation they honestly out performed imo
Let's not forget T1 though. They legit won masters this year with a 6 man roster
The thing with both TL and PRX is you won't know whether you'll get the liquid that absolutely demolished TH, Fnatic and every other team or you'll get Gluequid (nah but this year they've looked more consistent and better, those glue games were either too early or due to a burnout)
Same for PRX, anyone from that side can just go mental and have a crazy game going double positive.
PRX don't shy away from playing weird comps. But TL coaching staff is one of the best we have in the game rn, so it'll honestly be a good test!
Oh mb bro I meant in the context of this being do or die for these 2 teams
So now will Arthur on his HORSE successfully rob this TRAIN?
I'd so want this to happen lol. Will be an insane storyline, similar to FPX Copenhagen
Exactly. I mean he hasn't even played bad though. Stats don't speak everything, he has been flexing on roles he had not played before and he doesn't over heat, seems like a super chill guy who would be very easy to coach from his interviews and comms.
So I'd rather liquid develop him and the roster than drop anyone
I'd argue it's more important than raw mechanics tbh.
Else it'll be a slopfest with comms being all over the place and trust issues like Vitality.
2024 Heretics are a good example for this as well.
His Waylay has been S tier. A good Neon, very good Jett and a good Yoru.
But most importantly he's vocal and helps with some of the pre rounds so I don't think he needs to go tbh.
Kamo - Keiko - nAts is a good enough core imo
Well put.
And although I'd have liked both of these making out but now I'd prefer Liquid winning so we have 2 teams from each region being in the playoffs.
And I think Liquid might go deeper than PRX but that might be cope as well
TL and I hope they win. I wanted PRX to advance as well but if TL win that guarantees 2 APAC teams, 2 EMEA teams, 2 China teams and 2 Americas teams in the playoffs
Not just that. Let's not forget because of EMEA tech issues, Liquid had their match delayed by 1 more week.
That + Nats visa issue + already a delayed schedule.
That's basically the worst case scenario for them.
But yeah it's weird how china gets almost more than a month while EMEA gets 10 days.
And I understand that they cannot have all region games at once but maybe a rotational schedule might work?
Being honest I'd glaze Penny anyday but his util on the phoenix was absolutely insane. The flashes, wall and molly, I don't remember the last time I saw a game with phoenix kit giving someone that much value.
Now raw entry wise, Kamo has been very good imo. Doesn't over heat, does his job and set's his team for success as well.
That being said, I do hope Penny finds Tier 1 as a duelist somewhere
Exactly.
I mean even FPX, TH in the past have done well with a sub but when you factor out the following ->
All in all people are considering the second third and fourth points but forgetting the most important point which I think is the first one
Nah actually tho.
nAts penny together might be crazy
Bro paTiTek needs to step up with his shooting
So we're really not considering TL playing with 2 days of practice with a sub without their superstar IGL against a team that has had ~1 month of practice
As goated as Liquid's coaching staff is, BLG had like what 4 weeks to prep?
That's way too much compared to hardly a week if you discount travel media and other things that too with a new roster without your main IGL.
Like remember when BBL anti'd liquid on their best map split?
10-2 half and then eventually 13-7 finish.
So it's definitely possible and even I'd say BLG are favourites here.
nAts hate is uncalled for
I mentioned 3 internationals not three "majors".
Riot themselves categorised under a masters.
Factually speaking, Lock-in was the most difficult bracket since you couldn't make any mistakes and the number of teams were the most.
All in all, my point still stands, objectively speaking, Chronicle did in fact win 3 "internationals" with different rosters and in different metas.
Mickey mouse or not, that's subjective.
Oh mb what I meant was I personally had Less as the MVP than the eventually crowned MVP, Aspas.
So that was my preference and not the factual MVP.
Only correct answer till someone wins more than 3 international across different rosters and different metas
TenZ would have subbed in instead of penny
They might have lost, they might have done well but wouldn't that be such a clouted move lmaoo
Unrelated perhaps but I do thing prime FPX Shao was on par with Leo but Leo's longevity was more and he was more consistent for a longer period
Bro let the man rest, he's been working overtime for the prx train anyways
