We all know they have the ability to scout unproven upcoming talents such as something, jemkin and Izu that debuted in the JP scene. Yet because of how successful teams that have imports in Japan scene such as Sengoku, CR, Jadeite, Reject and Scarz. Teams ended up following the trend of finding good imports rather than trying to find their own locally because they see that all the top 2/3 teams always have at least 1 import and we rarely saw full JP teams making it and the one that did constantly isn't even in the scene anymore (Zeta).

I feel like it's extra hard for IGL controllers to frag since they have a huge task of keeping up with the enemy and smokes. Even Mako went from one of the best smokes to bottom frag after he became the igl controller. But when he switches to flex(breach) He manages to regain his footing.
