I mean it's still an awfully long time to stare into a screen.

I just feel sorry for Fnatic's eyes. 7 maps of valorant.

posted 5 months ago

FNC played a match earlier today and now is coming back on stage to play a BO5. Shit's rough.

posted 5 months ago

Thanks that was the one.
I found the other one you were talking about: https://twitter.com/Fang358_/status/1699376694103306634

There was a stats post on reddit a while back that showed that he had the highest clutch rate at champions or something. See if I can find it again, but bro clutches out a lot more than people think. He loses midround and early fights but that's typical of IGLs.

1) Hell freezes over
2) Fnatic plays harbour viper

Recency bias is a hell of a drug.

I dont think he cares that he's not 'the best' when he's doing his job properly for his team and they're winning matches and trophies.

posted 6 months ago

At this point his Raze does look better sometimes. It's more of a symptom of Fnatic's best maps all being Raze maps.

posted 6 months ago

Someone who is consistently 2nd or 3rd best ITW is arguably better than someone who is first for a brief period and then falls off a cliff.

posted 6 months ago

bro won a whole tournament on Raze only.

Genuine question. Aside from the name and prize money is there actually any real difference between a masters title and a champions title?
The main thing I can think of is that for champions everyone starts on the same starting blocks, but in most cases it would be the higher seeds from each region getting through anyways (like how in champs 2023 none of the LCQ teams made it out of groups).
The other one is that maybe champs being later on means weaker teams have shown more of their playbook and it tests which teams has more depth?

He's like Derke for fnatic. Can hype up the team when it comes down to it.

posted 7 months ago

This makes me sad. Laz is still a really good Chamber and Dep still has a lot of potential. I hope at least Dep gets picked up somewhere and they get some discipline into him because I think that's his main issue. Man can click heads.

posted 7 months ago

Was just gonna say. This guy is my age and Twisten is even younger and it really puts things into perspective that we're not invincible. Take care of yourselves guys.

Hands off the roster holy shit. If FNC even breathes on this roster I’m supporting KARMINE Corp.

posted 8 months ago

Think the team is fine. Boaster just needs to cook over the off-season

posted 8 months ago

That final transcended the game. It was a straight up life lesson about perseverance.

As a FNC fan bait like this is why i have a Vitality flair

Sydney so I can watch matches at a reasonable time.

Please?

Rn EG beats Fnatic. Tokyo FNC vs LA EG would be close but FNC probably wins. FNC rn is plagued by mistakes and predictability but back before everyone figured them out they were pretty close to watertight.

posted 8 months ago

This site is literally 90% baiters hating on whichever team is fashionable to hate on rn lmao.

Ggwp to Loud. They all played giga well and I hope Fnatic learn and improve for next year. Thanks for giving us 3 maps

He doesn't take himself too seriously and I always respect multitalented people. he's a showman and he's a decent IGL. Even after his esports career he can probably do well in streaming. He might not be the best fragger but he's an all round good dude and I think that's why he has a massive following. After all ,these tournaments are for entertainment first and foremost, and I don't see how him trying to liven up the mood is a problem.

Some people like edgy players like Demon1 and that's ok cos I see the appeal. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

What you dont want to see Saadhak's pound cake?

Ok now we need FNC to lose and the Saadhak to do it back to him

Well played from Boaster though.

posted 8 months ago

I mean imo FNC is the cockroach of pro valorant. They get stomped, die, and then still come back next year to do it all again.

posted 8 months ago

Yea this is piss poor fundamentals from them. I support FNC and I still think they're the weakest out of the top 4 in the current form by far. Idk if they got cocky or they just got solved.

posted 8 months ago

Stands in own molly
Stares down 3 people
Kills 2 of them
Goes down to own molly so the enemy team doesnt get orbs

posted 8 months ago

Not the aim. The aim is ok. The fundamentals are AWFUL this tournament and that was their biggest strength.

posted 8 months ago

Ah well at least it's not 13-1

posted 8 months ago

I agree. The fundamental this tournament has been awful. They threw 2 rounds this half alone and this easily could have been 8-4 in the other direction if they played those rounds right.

Even if FNC wins like this Im not happy. This is garbage valorant.

posted 8 months ago

Im just here for good valorant. Idrc who wins as long as both teams play well and I get a good game

Called the map pool

I want Tokyo FNC vs Champs 22 LOUD. It would suck if either of them just falls over.

As much as I hate to say it Kangkang kind of fell off a cliff this tournament.

FNS is my hot take here. He's a really good IGL but I don't think he's the kind of gigabrain that people are painting him out to be.
Maybe it's just the recency bias but him not being able to adapt to BLG's 'Run it down' strategy in 4 MAPS kind of calls into question what he's doing. I think he has good ideas and has really good game knowledge but his adaptability is holding him back. But then again I don't know what he actually contributes to the team so I could be completely spouting shit.

posted 8 months ago

Might be a hot take but Jakee and runi have both improved a lot. They might not have put up massive results with C9 but for a team that was expected to crash and burn they actually put up acceptable results. This is also their first time in T1 valorant so I think they've done well enough for players new to the scene.

Objectively though Alfa, Cauanzin, the whole of EG, Foxy9 arguably had a good first year as well.

posted 8 months ago

There is no way Fnatic lets Pearl through. The only chance they win Pearl if they make finals is the surprise factor by playing something nobody is prepared for. They'll probably have to bite the bullet with Loud's Ascent and try to upset them there.
