I can't wait to see pro players complaining about this change.

Laranja > Limão

Nobody knows for sure which one has more players, csgo just has more tournaments and a more stablished/loyal esports fanbase. It takes time to turn regular players or regular viewers in regular esport fans.

posted about 2 years ago

Matches with two teams from the same region are kinda boring tbh. Not to mention that these teams have faced each other two weeks ago lmao.

BR CSGO domestic scene is kinda dead rn, our teams are all playing in NA/EU (Furia, Pain, 00Wins, Imperial, TOne, Case), besides that there are just some few tier 3 teams trying to survive playing Mickey Mouse tournaments.
Yes, some few pros are switching but they are all tier 3 players without any relevance tbh. Unlike NA and EU, the BR VAL scene is not fully dominated by ex csgo pros, we have tons Point Blank/Cross Fire/Paladins/CSGO players and some new talent as well, there are even ex LOL pro players in VAL.

posted about 2 years ago

It's just a marketing choice, they are a content creation oriented org and all their streamers and players are constantly posting pics making an L with their hands.

Metal is a niche genre by nature and these are "boomer bands". The metal kids are listening other things.

Ultra HD 60 fps gameplay.

posted about 2 years ago

posted about 2 years ago

posted about 2 years ago

posted about 2 years ago

Most brazilian fans don't even know who he is tbh. You'd be surprised with how little attention an average BR fan give to the non domestic scene.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean... MAD turned down the spot LVP offered to them in the spanish league back in January. What's the point signing a team a way smaller league now? They seem to have tons of spanish fans, the org kinda droped the ball on this one.

posted about 2 years ago

Why are they bringing a washed ex csgo player with small Valorant competitive experience in a decisive moment like this? Seems like a shitty decision tbh.

posted about 2 years ago

Not true, in Brazil Riot itself runs all the tournaments. They even have their own studio for LOL, Valorant and LOL mobile.

posted about 2 years ago

I can see InGaming losing their spot, the org itself is leaving the scene and the players are already looking for new teams. The roster probably has lost all the motivation at this point.

posted about 2 years ago

Probably because there are way more BR fans than SG fans.

posted about 2 years ago

EMEA is way more important for Riot than APAC, it's natural that they receive things first. That being said, I'm pretty sure Riot will bring something similar for APAC in the future.

posted about 2 years ago

Vierwership in EMEA last year was garbage, the truth is that most people do not watch open qualifiers with a bunch of random teams. The current format give the teams more stability and is easier to follow.

Wait... does Pain still has a Valorant roster?

Crowds are back for LOL LCS playoffs so I'm pretty sure they have the know how to do this kind of stuff.

posted about 2 years ago

Looking good against random stacks and tier 3 teams doesn't mean anything LOL.

posted about 2 years ago

They have almost no western fans. Better stick with their huge chinese fanbase.

posted about 2 years ago

Why? In League of Legends both TW/HK and mainland China have their own separated leagues.

posted about 2 years ago

They will probably play in tier 3 GC tournaments. Lots of hate material.

posted about 2 years ago

League is franchised and tier 2/3 still exists.

I mean... Country population is not the same as game population. Just Riot knows how many players the game has in SA.

If Veio da Havan is sad, I'm happy.

posted about 2 years ago

They probably just lack playerbase in CSGO. It's hard to find talent if the playerbase is too small.
