I mean I definitely think he’s highly overrated. I’d still put him in my top 10 or 15 list probably, but the people clearly love him cuz hate him or love him, he has a ton of charisma imo and is a natural showman, and just for that people find EDG really entertaining to watch. I’m not sure if the casters really overhype him that much (it makes it entertaining) but the people here on VLR definitely do

Yeah I think kk is better but Fiti went crazy. I wasn’t expecting GIANTS to be that good since EMEA is probably the most boring region for me to watch(I have no patience so it’s too slow compared to APAC and CN, and Americas just has too much clout I guess lol) so I didn’t really know what to expect. I do think a good amount of their success yesterday was from hard counter strating EDG but they’re definitely better than a lot of the teams here at champs imo

He was definitely the better player that series but KK was also definitely having an off-day. Which is the weird and frustrating thing about EDG. All their players have the capability to be the star of any match (for example nobody yesterday) but one of them is often playing bad while somebody else goes crazy (for example kk popped off today while nobody just played horribly). It would be so good if all of them just played at their best, which I think we’ve rarely seen

I agree he got diffed this series, but it’s pretty clear to me he was having a slight off-day, which is still insane considering he went even in all the maps. Not saying that there’s isn’t huge bias towards him, but I mean it’s clear from this series he’s easily still one of the best players in the world so we shouldn’t discredit him either

imo EDG didn’t play that well today in terms of team coordination and basically won because of their individual plays. I’d say it’s 50/50 or 60/40 (to prx) if EDG is able to play better on the macro level
