happened with me once....some stupid russian hacker hacked my email and valorant....i didnt play the game for a long time, he took advantage of that....but some braindead player asked riot to change the region of my account....thats when riot contacted me on the email....i had no idea all this was goin on.....thankfully i mailed riot games, raised a ticket and changed my email password and got my account back
