so basically, 3 regions, americas, emea, and pacific each get 10 teams for a total of 30 teams that form the VCT and then there is VCL (Valorant Challengers League) and each league has a certain amount of teams that go to the end of the year ascension tournament for a chance to win a slot in the VCT league for 2 years then you get demoted back down to VCL.
